it looks like if xbox wants more and more. now they will have a new application to use twitter and facebook. of course they are not silly since these 2 are big companies in the market of the social networking. maybe the most of the people is using facebook to share photos or to have fun with friends from the whole world now. so the xbox continue with the innovation and with the aim of take more and more players. Microsoft made it before with the internet explorer just for name one case, and this time can they make it with the big N?

i agree with you Lib...i dont even use my facebook or myspace anymore (havent for a long, time now) and although im sure some people will love this new addition it means nothing to me.i just could really get into those applications and only thing myspace was good for was hooking up for some ass...but im married now so cant do that so no need to use it.

That novelty wore off after 2 minutes of turning the Wii on for the first time.
Id rather point and click with the wiimote than point and click with that damn controller. With just a hand flick i can zoom in and out, scroll with ease and type alot faster, theres really no argument to which one is better fundamentally, which is why i dont care that the 360 doesn't have one.

you seriously dont belive that using a usb corded(or cordless) mouse is less hassle than just using a right out of the box wiimote. Right?
Shit if im going to use my comp's mouse i might as well just hop back on the fucking computer. Not saying that that isnt another way to efficiently web browse on the PS3, but that a huge unwanted hassle. I have a PS3, and a Wii, so id rather just quickly pick up a wii mote and amuse myself on youtube rather than have to go through those extra hassles to more easily web browse on the PS3. Plus the wiimote can do more features than than just a mouse, and more easily.

LOL... the two of you sound like an old, married couple the way you 'argue'...
But regardless, the concept of this addition isn't such a bad idea... it's just a way of trying to draw in a larger audience. Not to mention, it looks pretty damn convenient for the people who are into these applications.
Facebook, I dunno. I guess it'll have some mild use. Twitter though... you are on your 360. Hence you are playing games over Live and, funnily enough, anyone to who that has any relevance at all (ie your friends who you play with) already know that as you are fraggin' their ass.
I'm not a fan of using social networking or instant messaging while playing video games, because it ruined me. The only game I ever cared about rank on was BFMC, because you had to be consistently good to have a high rank. It was based on points per hour, and I was great until one day I spent about twelve hours on IM while logged onto Backstab. I liked the WW3 soundtrack to my day I got from being in the room. I did not like my puny rank afterward.
I don't really see the need for it either kinda retarded. As far as facebook goes im trying to use it a little more, but everytime i send out invites they always get rejected. I guess people are trying to tell me something i can take a hint.

If I was on Facebook, I wouldn't reject your invite... to me, it's bad enough people that I know 'talked' my wife and I into joining Myspace after years of resisting the peer pressure.
