    Similar graphics to MW2, but still holds the gameplay secret to success for first person shooters.
     
    In a way you could almost say it's opposite of BF3.  As the graphics are nowhere near as superior, but the gameplay & 'rush' factor still are.

    Multiplayer maps have the same type of run-n-gun action as MW2 for the most part. Even the maps that are a little more open, have perfectly placed cover spots. Not on all the maps, but most.

    This isn't the first time Activision has pulled off such a stunt , but it may be one of the more controversial ones.

    MW2 had a 'touchy' one as well with the Russian terrorist attack mission at the airport.

    And even though MW3 is looking superb in terms of gameplay , I personally don't understand the need to create even more of a buzz....which will in a twisted sense probably only help their sales in the long     ...

    BF3 Review

    Similar to Bad Company 2, more hype than anything else..

    First off , I'd like to give props to Dice's advertising / marketing department for creating one of the most dramatic, over-the-top promos , trailers ,commercials , and other marketing material all for just a mediocre shooting game that will most likely die-off after a couple months....similar to their previous games. Kind of reminds me of dealing with cheap car salesmen.

    From an early glance, it'll be hard to see this game having any strong sticking power to rival the reigning top dog out there. ( name left blank )

    The single player campaign is good, but almost seems like a rushed product. The chapters seem to be all over the place, so if you're looking for any kind of story you could forgetaboutit... Also, somewhat annoying is how you die out     ...

    Gears of War 3 Review

    A masterpiece of a game from beginning to end. EPIC has done it again and comes through with flying colors in it's trilogy of Gears of War 3.

    But before that & since we weren't doing reviews when Gears 2 was out. I'd like to quickly emphasize how much of a drastic improvement this installment is over Gears 2....which seemed like a rushed product, with no thrilling story or in-depth variation from Act to Act. My quick rehash of that one made me feel like we were in a dark cave for most of the game with just mediocre-ly cool bosses along with mostly the same locusts as in Gears 1. Quite frankly, Gears 2 felt like a huge downer.
