Im starting to like the L96 its a great offensive weapon. Its not as heavy as the M8s but more accuarate. With a high scope and bipod you can do heavy damage offensively to a team of campers.

Its so accurate you can crouch and shoot with it and be on the move. Great skill can out of this gun with practice.

How is a bipod gonna help u with the offensive unless you're gonna crawl from the terr spawn LOL

The L96 is a great wep for practicing quickscoping if you're gonna be on the offensive, but the OSOKs will always be better. Weight shouldn't matter unless you're going predator style w/ a ghille

or if you want 2x HEs which aren't really needed when rushing w/ a non semi-automatic sniper rifle.

Bipods help sniper rifles alot dude even when ure not prone. Try this out. Pick up a M82 and high scope and nothing else. Stand up, zoom in, and watch how it bobbles wildly. Now add the bipod next round. Stand up, zoom in and watch how it bobbles considerably less. It much more steady so you can snipe than move. And since the L96 is lighter than the M8 you can equip it and weighs the same with better accuaracy.

The gun i always use for outdoor duties is an M16 with high scope, cant beat it, no, it cant be suppressed, but i dont care and would rather have the range, i can take out most people at long range, especialy proned snipers that havn't seen me, and if they get too close, i have a semi automatic assault rifle, best gun on the game.

i like the M40A1 because it is lite and it is the most accurate sniper rifles on the game, in my opinion, especially with the medium scope. the other ones are good for moving slow or for fire power but with this you can move fast and carry alot more equipment with u than with the other sniper rifles.

I use L96 all the time... Its the most accurate sniper rifle in the game. It Pwns totally.

i like the M8's basically because i love the sound and the OSOK's, just quick zoom in and shoot, by the time you aim for a head shot w/ l96 someone with an M8 has already waxed you.

M8's are best 4 quicscope shotgunning and camp.I am HALOFOV im a good sniper never camp i quicscope a lot and shotgun so i like the m8 line.If you are just starting with sniping i recomend OSOK's.After,you have sniped for a while use a l96 m40 they are decent.But,I use m8s.They are best sniper in the game.

For seals i use m87 with a 226 when im bored ill grab a l96.For terr i use m82 with deagle.When im bored ill use sasr.I recomend m87 and m82 for the sides.If you dont agree with me send me a friend invite in socom 3 my name is HALOFOV.As soon as i can play i will accept all invites and talk 2 u about them.
