Error Code L2, Error Code D2
Im having some problems with my socom online. I have got disconnected over 150 times this last week. It kicks me off the game and it Says "Error Code L2" most of the time and sometimes "error code D2" and it takes me to the socom server page. Sometimes the servers dont even show up and it restarts my ps2. any ideas on how to fix it? I really want to play a game without getting disconnected

Theres socom for you. Ever since since last patch theres more lag, mess ups, and stuff like this. And the better the connection the less it will happen. But it will still happen to the occational person, so dont start flipping saying you got the best connection. And the smaller rooms the less lag. So if you dont want to to deal with it join aroom under 16 people.

I am also having this problem and it's really starting to piss me off. I've probably been booted at least 100 times this week because of this error code L2 BS. It seems the me, the more and more time that goes by, the less and less that zipper seems to do to fix problems. Oh well, nothing like a company that doesn't care about it's consumers....map packs in march...hahahaha, how entertaining.

Smile
Here s what i did and so far it working

1. copied my socom data (if you played offline to another memory card)
2. erased my network configuration from my memory card as well as the new update (or recent one from the card as well)
3.then reconfigured my network and downloaded the latest update again..

I did this all by logging on the long way so far ive been playin for a few hours and nothing has happened ill repost again if it starts to boot me out of rooms again

It's because your modem and router don;t have a fresh connection. It also happens when your modem is bad and you just get dissconnected because you don't have a fresh connection.Just reset it and if it don't work re-do your online configuration.
