You'll have to go into your router settings and switch a couple things. I'll go look it up and get back to you this afternoon.

You need to buy a new modem, i had the same problem for 3 weeks at the start of socom 3.

I went to cash converters and got a 'speedtouch' or soemthing for $25 and my coms are great.

I previously had a D-Link 302G and I did EVERYTHING I could with opening ports etc but its a peice of **** and you need a modem that works.

i have a DLink Dl-604. never really had problems with it.

there are some routers i think that wont let u fix that problem after what ive read, but go to the GB forums ( http://socom3.eu.gamebattles.com ).
read a sticky there and it should say how to fix ur comms

It's all very well saying you have a DLink, but he wants the particular model, its as good as me saying i have a netgear.

Have a search on the web for the model "DLink DI-624 + Socom + Ports" or something like that. You'll get at least one site that will help you.

well i tried the router fix thing but it didn't work so what i did find out that works is instead of hitting quick login go through the main menu and pick your own connection.

I also have the Dlink DI-604 and I have no problems with it. I just had to switch a couple of ports.

I opened the ports 6000-6999 and turned DMZ off. I followed every possible instruction in the sticky at the top of this page but some of the tabs mentioned in the DI-624 fix arent even there. As i said prob coz it is American.
