PS2 HDD question/answer thread

one new map will be available to hard drive owners on next months demo disk in official playstation magazine. first map called after hours followed the next month by another map (liberation) then finally the last one called last bastion. this is no bull its in this months issue.

i live in the uk and i was wondering if the hdd will come out over here. what if you have a clan match and some people have tht map and some dont, i would be mayhem to try and pick maps tht evry1 has.

I dont know if you answered this in the previous 14 pages but can you buy the HDD without buying final fantasty?

I highly doubt its worth buying an HDD for simply 3 maps and who's to say you'll find anyone more than 4 people in the room with the HDD and the map installed and they're on? Chances are you won't find anyone to play it with except for a handful of people because it's just not worth it. They should make it available to eevryone and then it would be a lot mroe fun due to the massive amount of people playing it.

i bought the HDD for FFXI wich is pretty bad, but it is also for games like MGS and THUG

Ok so we need a disk from some crap magazine to load the new map? What the hell is this BS? Why can't we download it? Sony really burned me with the hard drive, and the shafting continues even when they finally try to do the right thing.

yep its called LIFE i compare it to the taxes you have to pay.some of it is ******** but you still have to do it.

Well I got the disk, and the new map is really cool. Its pretty big with a lot of places to hide, like the subway, buildings, roofs, and parking garages. It definitely nice seeing a new environment.
