Memory Card
Alright i was spending the night at my frinds house and i left my memory card there, now it wont let me log onto SOCOM II online because i have no network settings. And every time i try to make one i get a message saying that i need a memory card to save them to, I have the HDD so would that be able to work for now?

Please help with this.

I think that's the answer.

I've thought about the samething before, if you even need the memory card if you have the HDD and I guess for certain things you do need the card.

yes I think you do need the memory card for that...I think ive read that before somewhere. All I can suggest is to go back to your friend's house and pick up your memory card.

MYKILL has disabled reputation
memory vs. hdd
the hard drive is just a storage space. To activate the hard drive a game itself must activate it ie:socom options hdd enabled. ive talked to sony about this and they said that there is no way to transfer or store game saves or network settings on it. the only way is to buy a mod chip but that doesnt always work because there are so many variables. the memory card is needed to get to the game/network saves in order to get to the hdd.
