New Monster Hunter

I never played the original, but I've heard good things. Can anyone recommend (or discourage...) getting this game on the 22nd? My friend has a PSP and wants to play it together.

Are you speaking of Unite? If you are, I have it. I love the game. You can get a device called the Xlink and play with others all around the world. It cost anywhere between five to twenty bucks.

I love playing unite. I got 300 hours burned on the game. Although it has severe limitations, it can be alleviated with some help with cwcheat but only duping of buff items. Oh yeah, its a pain gathering resources, after 10 hunts, you search for more items, really tedious but a good game.

Ok im HR9 in MHFU and the hole time ive been playing the game not once have i been bored. The quests are alot more challenging for people who easily beat the first 2 MH. You can create all kinds of kick ass weapons and armor. In short i promise you if you liked the first monster hunter game you will not regret playing monster hunter freedom unite.

I couldn't agree more. For me, it is actually harder from hr 3 to 6 than 7 to 9, It is just for my experience that you only get crappy equips first. but once you get to 9, you can easily pawn the same monsters with kickass weapons.

btw, I'm using HBG with the Ultimate Lao Shan Cannon and it takes just little time to gun down enemies like plessy and the narga.

lol nice im using a fatalis bow and other bows it takes some time to kill teh enemys but its fun

MH is the only reason i have interest in the PSP to be honest. Nothing else i've seen really makes me want one.
