Where are you in the story? (SPOILERS!)

I did the mission about 5 missions ago, I was just wondering what everyone did.

Generally when I am getting chases by someone in a car on a mission, I just stop and try to take them out. If that fails, I get out of the vehicle (where possible) and take them out.

I did that with the mission where you drive the trashmaster, and pretty much every mission where I am in a chase. I hate driving while been chased, so I make it my objective to not let it get to that point.

Yeah, I don't mind being chased. I just shoot out one of the tires, or shoot the driver through the windshield. If I have 3 stars, I just get out on a road and drive as fast as I can I usually lose them. Thats the reason why I killed Francis because I don't need his perk.

Well I wasn't even aware I could get that perk from Francis. I wish I had killed Derrick now!

I read somewhere that if you kill Derrick instead of Francis you get the perk that lets you call Francis when you are being chased and you lose your wanted level. Its not that great though because when you finish the game you will never use it. Why? because most of the time you will get the cops to chase you on purpose.

Since my last update today:

I killed the traitor guy since the whole point in the entire story is to find him. What's the point in letting him live?

I made the deal rather than killing Dimitri. I was hoping to just get the game over with but typical GTA didn't let it happen so simply.

I am now stuck on the part where you have to get on Jacob's helicopter while in the boat. I got very close to doing it the first time but someone from college called me just as I was about to do it.

I have attempted to do the mission again and just can't seem to get close enough the helicopter in time. I think I have had 4 more attempts, now I have just given up until tomorrow.

EDIT - Did the mission first time when I tried today. Pretty good ending.

I'm about to decide who I should kill. Either Dwayne, or Playboy X. I don't really know who I should kill. I've started those missions for the UL Paper guy who will help me find the traitor if I complete his missions. I knew Michelle wasn't who she said she was. I should have killed her when I got the chance early on in the dates.

Roman just got bailed out by yours truly after he ****ed up during a card match. He's always getting into trouble, and I always have to bail him out. I haven't started to date anyone after Michelle, but I suppose I should start.

I would kill Playboy X because he gives you the mansion. Plus, if you let Dwayne live you will get two extra guys that help you out when you call them.

I finally beat the game. It took me 52 hours and beat it at 89%. Now if I could only get 100%....

Man, I had to start all over. Somehow, my file was corrupted so it's forcing me to start over. It's cool though, I made some mistakes on the old one which I will not do on this file.

Not accusing you, but that is usually the result of cheating on GTA games. I remember playing through SA and I went back to it after a few months and my save file was corrupt because of all the cheats I had used. I haven't used any in IV which is quite an achievement for me on a GTA game.

I think I finished it with around 65% done. I am hoping to get it up to 100% but it will take me forever. I do think it will be easier on IV than previous ones in the series though. The horseshoes and clam things were ridiculous in SA.
