Gears of War Theme Song
Ok so anyway I thought I would do an FYI

The theme song is Gary Jules, Mad World. There have been a few renditions of the song, but I have to say Gary Jules version is the best.

I just take this song to heart since I heard it off the commercial, I think it has a deep and meaningful melody and vocals. The song just evokes emotion over me and I felt that I should share it with the rest of the VGF audience. I selected some of the better versions that I found. Out of all the renditions of the song the Gary Jules version is my favorite of the bunch.

Anyway hope you like the work I put in to bring this song to you.

It is a great song really loved it around the time Donny Darko came out. It works really well in this trailer and is completely different to any other game trailer which is great =]

Me too. I also liked the song from when Donnie Darko came out as well as the fact that it's got a different feel than other game trailers. The Gary Jules video for the song was good too. Not the one Doublr Life posted with clips from Donnie Darko but this one => YouTube - Mad World- Gary Jules

Great song, great song. I also agree, it fit's like a puzzle in that trailer.

Yeah the Gary Jules version is the best. Tears for Fears made the original version but it is just too fast and doesn't show emotion at all.
