The very worst map is Bog. Half the time it is crippled by latency, and when it does work the airstrikes ruin everything.
Man, I loved Bog. No matter who I was playing or what gun I was playing with, I'd always run out and pop 4-7 before my first death, and that's not including my 2-3 grenade kills. Everything after that first 4-7 was just pure rape. I also love the area around the bus, nobody can **** with me around there.
I just finished the single player mode (got bored), and I was very impressed with it. I love how they kept to the title with "modern warfare." I absolutely love using the Spectre Gunship, M19 Grenade Launcher, and the .50cal sniper rifle to execute the Russian.
I didn't realize the story mode was done so well. And that "Epilogue" mode in the Mission Selection is pretty sweet. It reminds me of the movie, SWAT, when they are practicing in the old airplane.

Try playing the Epilogue mission on Veteran (you can just select that mission on that difficulty, no need t ore-play the entire game if you don't want to). I almost guarantee it will keep you occupied for quite some time. I know it took me a while to complete.
Is it just me or is there a huge burst of activity for this game again? Lately I've been seeing a lot of my friends online switch back to playing this game and I'm probably going to end up buying it again because of it.

I still play it from time to time with my local area friends. But I can only handle so much of it. No more than 4 matches or I loose interest.
Why did you get rid of it in the first place ?
I'll always keep it around and I still have my PS3 copy in case my 360 craps the bed on me. I think my PS3 is going to be getting a little more attention soon.

I traded it in to put money on GTA IV, but right after this happens everyone is playing it... so I'm either picking it up today, or using my money on Nascar 09 in a couple days.

I've been playing it on PS3 occasionally during this past week. Although I have been playing it on PC more just because there is significantly more action in a 50 person room compared to a 12 person room on console.
I'll be playing COD4 until Socom: Confrontation comes out because there really are no other games coming out that I think will hold my interest for a long period of time (other than MGS4).

I would rest Nascar 09 because EA has been having problems getting these games right. Not to mention Nascar 09 would be a game you really wouldn't play all of that much after a while.
Also keep in mind that Battlefield Bad Company is coming out soon. If you'd rather buy that game then I would do it because from playing the demo, I can see myself on that game for a long time. I'll come back to CoD4 from time to time because it's still an awesome game but I need another good shooter to switch to when I bored of CoD4.
Everyone went to play some of the other games that came out and now they are bored with it and went back to their favorite eventually.
You know thats one thing about this game that is so true. I always end up coming back to it. Even when I took 2 months off I thought I was done with this game.
Everyday you could experience something new and be like "wow". Like last night I was using the M16 silenced and G36c silenced and was loving it. The G36c silenced shoots completely straight when no-scoped. Theres always a different combination that could wow you.
MGS4 online is really nice. The only complaint I would have about it is its walk speed is kinda slow and there is no sprint button. But there are perks that can increase your run speed over time. Thats if you dedicate your time to that game. Graphics and hit detection for MGS4 online might even be better then COD4. Close call.
BTW, Mob nice K/D ratio. Your one of the few i've played that could hold a nice ratio without the need to camp. mad respect.
