I have been thinking recently of more fun things to do with Socom and I thought this might be a good idea and was hoping to get your input on the idea.

Randomized Games.

Basically I was just thinking that people would have no choice in their armory setup. I.E. You aren't sure if you are getting an IW-80 or a Sniper Rifle. This would force people to be much more flexible in their weaponry and not only be good with an IW or a M60. It would completely randomize your whole armory and/or teams you would be on, maybe even maps too but I really like the armory idea.

I must admit, I can't snipe someone standing still even if I have a thermal scope. I absolutely blow sniping. But this way, I would HAVE to learn how to snipe, or I would lose.

I think that this is a great idea! It would be fun to try and win with the guns that you don't usually use.

good idea, reminds me of the days in AOE/AOC wherew my clan would have rdm civ and rdm map games... good times

great idea, it would force alot more team work in open rooms by making people use equipment they may not be famliar with. which would lead to them using the mic more and asking for help more often.
but i dont think that would be too fun in a clan war, i know from personal experience that my clan everyone using the traits they are best with(people who like to snipe, snipe and campers, camp) but it most likely would stir up some good gameplay.

That's not the right attitude.....
I thought the same way for some time
But it really is easy

Think of getting an angle on someone
Cathing them completely off guard
Say.....throwing a grenade perhaps...

That's how I learned...
I spent my time playing xroads and trying to work angles on people at the most a$$hole times (mostly in the beginning of the round)...

It does sound like a good idea.. I don't know JACK about M4A1 (can proficiently (sp?) use it silent, though) and I am HORRIBLE with the STG-77!

That's totally what I mean. Like if you could enable it and maybe state whether you want randomized teams and/or armory and/or maps (I.E. No one knows what map it is until the loading screen).

Also, I think that you should be able to set randomize to either game or round to prevent some guy getting a M40 the whole game, and instead maybe just one round.

And I can't stand sniping long enough too learn it MrRob :P . My problem is I am so impatient I must rush and can't stand camping personally hehe.

Thats the stupidist idea ever i hope socom does not make it like that. That is gay it takes the whole fun out of everything
