Splinter Cell; entire series (multi)
Is it just me or is this the ultimate spy game? I think this series has more stealth in it than any other game.

I just LOVE ****ing with the guards, Doing the Bank level (mission 3) Without touching a guard, moving around an office building (CIA, Displace, etc.) getting intel, oh man, this series is just awesome! Still no MGS though...

Personally, I have never beaten Pandora Tomarrow. I cheated with a ARmax to beat the original (Too ****ing hard for me... I was stuck on like mission 2 (I kept getting stuck really early in the mission yet I passed it 3 times on the first day I tried it), But I beat Chaos theory Legit.

The online though has always been lacking for me, mostly because I want to shoot the **** out of people but the spies guns never do anything (Apperantly your not supposed to use guns. pffft.)

Either way, This series is a definite MUST HAVE for any game counsle.

And SC:DA looks sick. Do we really have to shoot lambert though?

I'm glad to see someone shares my love for this series.

I have beat all the splinter cell games and I play it on hard and yet I don't find it hard. Its a blast to sneak up on the gaurds, grab them, and make them talk.

Online is fun but not enough people on anymore. I always prefer being a spy because I love ****ing around with the mercs.

I have a topic about double agent.

I'm also a huge fan of the series. They are all very entertaining and I recommend them to anyone who has patience.

I didn't finish the last one though. All I remember is being in some kind of giant boiler room and needing to defuse a bunch of bombs in less than 2 minutes or something. After a bunch of failed attempts I flung the disc somewhere and have yet to find it.

I love that mission, and Id love to replay over and over again, if that part was not in it...Oh well.

The first was a little more difficult, I found but I by no means got frustrated at any one point. I never got around to PB, but oh well. The games are awesome, and the Co-op is really fun if you get a friend over whos just as sneaky as you are

The online mode leaves much to be desired

I can't believe I found someone that actually likes the garbage co-op they put together. I played it for 10 minutes and thought it was ****ing stupid. It was like they made the whole single player game and online mode and then made a co-op in 10 minutes just to have it. I was VERY disappointed.

Online is fun like I said but just not popular enough.

What mission are you guys talking about. I need more details. The way boba described it it reminded me of the socom 2 mission where you are in the plant diffusing the bombs and then kill the trigger man.

^^ lol. That is -for most people- the hardest mission in the game (personally I despise the battery...). If you find the disc, heres what to do.

Remember to pick the lock! If you break it, another guy comes in and the soilders are much more vigilant. For the first bomb, run to the left of the stairs in front of the gate you picked, follow that little passage, defuse the bomb.

Once you got that done, move out and get to the steps again. Climb up the stairs, take a left. Follow that until the thing ends. Do a U-turn and keep following the path. Once you get to this end, jump down and defuse the bomb. Take out any guards when you feel nessacasry!

Now jump back up, keep progressing down this catwalk, and you'll see the last bomb. Jump over to it, and your pretty much done. Defuse the bomb.

Just jump back onto the catwalk, and go into the door shetland did. The path of this entire part of the mission is very obvious. Once you climb the latter, an ingame-(uncuttable)cutscene starts.

Once you go into aiming mode, either press the button to lower your weapon (Square on the Ps2) or Shoot him in the head. Either way you will kill him and he will fall back into the structure behind him, thus completing the mission

From what I remember, the first SC was a little hard but that might be because it was the first stealthy game I played. The second SC seemed pretty easy to finish, but was still fun. And now......to look for my copy of the third..........

As for the online aspect...............never bothered

As for the coop, me and a friend had hours of fun screaming at each other and doing many many s. Coop is definitely geared towards playing while and

I enjoy that game as well.

After playing MGS:TES; I needed something to give me the same feeling. I found SC.... It's never given me the same feeling that I got w/ MGS, but it surpasses all MGS clones out there.

It's amazing to think: Do people out there ACTUALLY do these things? Call me naive, but I got information from a recruiter that there are actual people who do these things. I don't know if I should believe it or not (most of the stuff they tell you is ********, anyway.).
