L96AW. Available on both sides and the best rifle in the game.

What makes it so good? I see NO advantages, and I'm pissed my game is messed up and I can't use the Medium Scope with my SASR.

Nobody can use the medium scope on their SASR. That's how the game is made to be.
And about the L96AW.... It's accuarte, scope gets steady fast, more powerful than the SR/SASR, it's not as loud as the M87/M82, it's light enough to allow a good pistol and 2 grenades and it just looks cool.

Good points on the L96AW. How is it "more accurate?" is this out of scope? Also, I can SWEAR I was playing with some S3 guys, like otter, and we had a convo over the Medium Scope, and a couple people said they COULD use it. I mean, it makes sense, doesn't it?

It would make sense, but you can't use it. (The reason I never use the SASR.)
With the more accurate thing, yes I did mean out of scope. I guess I should have said that.

M87.
In Socom 1, I loved the sound of it. It's the most powerful rifle in the game, long range, and I love the sound...still.

The OSOK rifles are good for convoy or when you are just learning how to snipe IMO.

The M-87 ELR for defensive, because it's easier to get off one shot kills.
The L-96 AW for offensive, because it's lightweight, makes less noise, and has the same rach as the OSOKs.

That makes sense, but, what if you go on offensive, to set up defence?
I will have to try the L96AW today.
