The Ranking System
The ranks are divided into two primary groups, the Enlisted and the Officers, each having a unique function. The Enlisted ranks serve as a form of training, in that players will have to play several games before progressing through them, while the Officer ranks make up the skill portion of the ladder.
Enlisted Ranks
Seaman Recruit 0-4 Games
Seaman Apprentice 5-14 Games
Seaman 15-24 Games
Petty Officer Third Class 25-39 Games
Petty Officer Second Class 40-54 Games
Petty Officer First Class 55-74
Chief Petty Officer 75-100 Games - 50 Wins
Officer Ranks
Lieutenant Junior Grade 66-80% on officer ladder
Lieutenant 51-65% on officer ladder
Lieutenant Commander 41-50% on officer ladder
Commander 31-40% on officer ladder
Captain 21-30% on officer ladder
Rear Admiral Lower Half 11-20% on officer ladder
Rear Admiral Upper Half 6-10% on officer ladder
Vice Admiral 2-5% on officer ladder
Admiral 0-1% on officer ladder
Fleet Admiral Limit this to the top 10 officer players
Ranking System info
The ranks are all earned by playing the game to move up in these ranks, players must complete a certain amount of "scored" games. These games played can result in both Wins and Losses and still be tallied in the total number of games played, to encourage players to remain in the game, rather than aborting if there is a chance they might lose. Although Enlisted players can only gain ranks by increasing the number of games they play, their total Rating is still being tracked.
The final goal of the Enlisted ranks requires a bit more dedication to reach, as it shifts the focus to the number of wins rather than number of games played. Once players have reached the necessary number of games and wins, their experience on the Ladder changes, and they are now placed in the Officer ranks. When a player reaches Officer class, they can never returned to the Enlisted ranks.
There is a screenshot on Page 116 of the Enlisted Rank, Junior Grade, Mid Grade and Flag Grade LOGOS.

The Online Maps in Detail
TIDAL FURY (the Ultimate Jungle Map Experience)
This map takes you to a hot, humid, jungle region. You will pass stunning beaches and cross the picturesque Karnaphuli River. Plumes of mist rising from the tropical waters may seem tranquil, but the situation you're about to confront will demand focus and concentration! You will have ample opportunity to stalk and ambush your foe in lush jungle vegetation. The enemy can easily spot you from a distance as you advance across open sections of beach; your camouflage is designed to mimic jungle vegetation, not sand, so keep well clear of these areas.
This map consist of heavy foliage, villages, ruins and planks, shores, rock cover, huts, a long river, wooden bridges and some other little indoor areas.
ANTENORA
The beach area is very flat, affording you a clear line of sight, but the same holds true to your enemy, so be careful! Always stay out of sight when close to the barricades, and fire at the enemy from under cover. You will find plenty of wooden pallets and corrugated iron sheets lining the barb-wire fence. Should you stray to the wrong side of the barricades, crawl back and hope no one noticed.
The overall strategy for navigating the tunnel system is the same as for fighting in narrow city streets. Use the many wooden pallets, crates and boxes for cover; sneak silently to the corners and peek ahead; open all doors with extreme caution, and breach rooms or areas by deploying flashbang grenades.
The map consists of a narrow strip of land (beach) on the far south side of the map, water is deep in places, a vast jungle land, wooden fences, huts, water barricades, turret mounted placements, barrels, boxes and everything else you need to take cover from the enemy.
BLACKWOODS
Bushes, long grass, trees and rocks offer many hiding places and opportunities for cover. The rivers enable you to sneak unnoticed deep behind enemy lines. Even so, you should avoid venturing into the middle of roads unless specifically instructed to do so. Use trees, barrels and planks as cover to evade fire. Abandoned train wagons, tall trees, using the ferns to take cover and multiple river paths and roadways is what to expect from this online map.
BONEYARD
Conditions in the shipyard call for street fighting tactics, with abandoned steel containers creating a maze of narrow alleyways. You will also have the opportunity to explore some of the derelict ships: the steel hulks are a labyrinth of claustrophobic chambers and sunken corridors. In the shipyard, keep a constant lookout for cover. Keep an eye out for good sniper positions, as these will provide a vital strategic advantage over your opponents.
Iron walkways, wooden balconies, giant cranes, warehouses, big crates, shipwrecks and a southern river is what its all about on this map.
WATERWORKS
You are virtually invisible to the enemy under the comforting cloak of darkness and will be able to go about your business all but unseen in the flooded streets of the Polish city of Wroclaw. Bridges and rooftops provide plentiful sniper positions. Naturally the flooded streets of this Polish metropolis also provide many places where you can, quite literally, dive underwater, out of view of the enemy. This is a critical survival strategy when facing off against enemy speedboats.
The map consists of water everywhere in the streets, rooftops, balconies for advantage points, vehicles will give you cover (Non-drivable), boats (drivable) and many indoor areas.
CITADEL
Takes place in the narrow streets of a walled town. Seals start at the front gate , where you can swim across the pond and approach the fort unseen. Monitor the intersections very carefully, clear houses with frag or flashbang grenades, and above all use every barrel, market stall and crate for cover when fighting in open squares. The walls are varied in height and certain places will serve as ideal makeshift sniping posts.
The map consists of narrow streets, intersections, open squares, alleyways, stairways for higher advantage points and other indoor areas.
KILLING FIELDS (The Desert King)
A sandstorm has blown into the desert and your fireteam is caught slap bang in the middle! Burning hot sand swirls around like a gritty tornado, making it hard to see further than a few feet in front of your face. A vast, desolate landscape of nothingness stretches as far as the eye can see; endless sand dunes drift on into infinity, peppered with odd isolated rock. The few palm trees and CHA sandbag defenses scattered around provide your only cover, as there's precious little else for you to hide behind, not even a stray camel. Feel free to use the CHA mounted machine-guns to fire on advancing enemies, but be aware that their effective range is limited, so sometimes you'll have to dismount and switch back to your own weapon.
CRUCIBLE
Sparsely covered with vegetation and dotted with gentle hills. Other than from inside launcher sites, most of your cover will be provided by trees and rocks. Their is also a disused mine with cave entrances and tunnels swarming with the enemy. Hug the walls, and proceed very carefully when you reach any forks in the path, as you could suddenly find yourself surrounded.
The map consists of missile launcher sites, roadways, narrow passages, caves and tunnels, enemy towers, crates, large rock and tree cover, high advantage points for snipers alike and other indoor areas.
DEVILS ROAD
The most importan ground rules are as followed: look for good sniping spots in the mountains, always stay behind cover, never leave yourself unprotected in the middle of the highway, scope the hills for hidden enemy soldiers, and check around every corner of the narrow alleyways in the villages.
The map consists of villages, narrow passages, giant plateaus, elevated sniping spots in the mountains, one long roadway strip, rock and palm tree cover and other indoor areas.
HARVESTER (aka HarVASTer)
The derelict buildings, long grass and plentiful trees and rocks all provide numerous opportunities for cover. Never venture out onto the open road; always stay on the grassy verge.
The map consists of ruins, trees and rocks, a giant windmill, barn, some houses, bridge passes, great opportunities for sniping, many roadways, an house on an island, a massive lake and some narrow passages. Love it or hate it, its a giant open field that Foxhunt fans will adore.
FAULT
Welcome to a claustrophobic maze of tunnels in an old salt mine, where you will discover plenty of perfect hiding places along the way. Black out lights, the resulting cloak of darkness will enable you to move through passages in relative safety. However, you should still check around every corner and monitor your immediate surroundings carefully.
The map consists of a maze of tunnels, scaffolds and other platforms, barrels, crates, walkways, a long river stream in the middle of the map, small bridge passes and rocks to take cover.
STORM FRONT
The numerous palm trees and rocks dotted along the river bank provide protection against enemy attacks. When in a boat, proceed slowly, monitoring your surroundings very closely.
The map consists of trees, rocks, enemy outposts, dirt passages, decks, broken bridge passes and many other indoor areas.

Miscellaneous Online/Offline Information
Single Player Difficulties
Ensign, Lieutenant, Commander, Captain ,Admiral
Victory Dances
No info in guide, some of the older S2 dances were in the S3 beta. From Blog we can confirm "The Robot" victory dance.
Snow Maps
There are unlockable winter ghillie suits for MP but its still unclear whether or not snow maps are in the game.
Swimming Speed
Speed increased from Beta to the final version of the game. You move a little faster and surface/submerge a little faster.
Weather Options
Options were in Beta but not accessable. Still unclear as to whether or not the weather options will be available in Final release. Nothing on weather in guide.
Ping Indicator
Guide does not discuss if there is an indicator to tell what everyone's ping is to find the real lagger in rooms. Hopefully it will be added into the final.
Account Setup
Player names must be from 5 to 15 characters long with no spaces, and passwords must be from 4 to 15 characters long with no spaces.
Muting Players/Voting Players
If other players are being beligerent or are hampering or interfering with gameplay, you can mute them from your headset or vote them out of the game. Just tap the O button to pull up a list of the players and select either Vote or Mute. Voting requires the majority of players to vote a person off. (Since we are now up to 32 players now)
Sniping Tips
The M87ELR and M82A1A are the two most powerful sniper rifles in the entire game: you only need to hit someone once in the torso (or the head, of course) to kill them. These weapons are great for sniping people on the move as well as those that are hiding and exposing just their head or part of their torso. Other sniper rifles are accurate and have good range but do not kill with one shot.
