2 years ago when i was a silver i could go online and play player matches for gears of war and player matches for smackdown vs raw, now i can't do any of that :/

Nope... not at all. If it keeps shady characters from playing online games, then I am all for it.
There's more going on in this story than you're telling us... Microsoft may be a lot of things, but there must be a reason for them to keep you offline like this... I can guarantee that much.
I haven't been active on xbox 360 since i got my ps3 on december. :/
That's why this is happening to you. Microsoft found out that you "betrayed" them, and now they're going to make you pay (both literally and that-other-word-ally; forgot; is it hypothetically?). What you have to do now is buy 50 kagillion 360 Elites and 3 billion years of Gold subscription.

Microsoft has great service. silver has never been able to do anything with live i don't know why your surprised. pay to play is kinda of gay but you do get a lot of things ps3 doesn't get. so i don't mind.

I doubt it :/ i'm not distruptive or anything when gaming online, unless my mic gets messed up and starts making noise like usual, but thats why i bought a new one today.
Maybe they banned me from gaming online because of me canceling my subscription, but i don't get any banned messages, i guess i'm just going to have to try and get a gold card, its bad enough i have to find 2000$ to get a new tv, rockband 2, socom, viva pinata and gow2 O.o i think i'm going to sell my games to get a card lol
Dante have you updated your credit card info with them?? If you haven't you may owe them 50 bucks. M$ automatically renews your membership with the card you used to start the account. If you don't have the card anymore or the card is maxed or something they will suspend you because they couldn't charge you. They will claim you owe them $50. It happened to me. You have to call customer support and tell them not to auto-renew. I believe its rule 6.5 on the terms and conditions. Who reads all that stuff anyway. If you are suspended you wont be able to use a pre-paid card either. I went through that as well.

No, they renewed my subscription through credit card, then i decided i wanted a refund because i wasn't going to use xbox live until like the end of september or october, so i called and they gave me my refund, so now i'm a silver...
