If I buy an elite now is it guaranteed 100% that it won't break?
I can't figure out what to buy. Xbox 360 or ps3.
I haven't got fast internet connection. SO I won't be playing online unless it is 5 in the morning. (connection gets faster)
Price: Both cost the same thing where I live. 450$ don't ask why.
LBP doesn't mean shit to me.
The games I want to play are:
Silent hill 5 homecoming.
Bioshock.
Virtua fighter or street fighter.
Maybe MGS 4.

No. But if you buy a PS3 it's not 100% guaranteed not to break. Same goes for a Wii, or a TV, toothbrush, anything. Is it more likely to break than a PS3? Yes, almost certainly, but I think they've improved the odds drastically recently. If both truly do cost the same in Bizarro World, or wherever it is you live, then it boils down to exclusives, or whether or not you want/need Blu-Ray. If the PS3s exclusives matter to you (and let's face it, they're getting better), or you want Blu-Ray playback, then go for it. If the 360s exclusives grab you more, go for them. Personally, I'd still go for a 360, but that's just personal preference, really. I'm not really sure why anymore to be honest. The PS3 does seem to be coming into its own at last, but the 360 seems to have become the spiritual home for many RPGs, which are what I like to play most.

The only RPGs i like are the jRPGs. So it's now +1 for ps3 which has more jrpgs.
you know... when i first read about this red ring of death, i realized something... microsoft has a problem making game systems... why do i say this? because when i first got the original xbox, a bunch were recalled because of overheating issues... i was lucky enough that mine was not one of the ones recalled. does anyone remember this?
Mine seemed to be the trend of all my friends' Xboxes. They all decided to poop out one after another. Total :: I think 5 of my friends are currently sending their Xbox in.
I get to buy a new harddrive on friday. Mine is corrupt and won't save downloads, and gives me disc unreadable errors on demo's. I didn't think that was even possible.

A warranty doesn't cover your 360 setting on fire and possibly burning your entire house down and risking your life? Bulllllllssshhhiiiiiiiitttt
I would've smacked some people around if they told me that.
I might buy a used xbox 360 with a rrod, can anyone tell me a secret to restoring xbox 360's? thanks a bunch

Some examples of this are signatures that have the following included : "Download Now" , "Free Games" , "Click here now" , and similar crap like that. Over the years, it is apparent spammers are getting wiser...But in my opinion more stupid as their wasting their time to have 1 or 2 clicks to their useless site. You can still link to other sites in your sig, as long as its done in a civil manner. Example : "Your Site Name".
Oh yeeeeeahhhh... as I've already mentioned in one of the 'Fat Princess' threads, my 360 has decided to shit out for the fourth, fifth, or sixth time now. I've contacted a local person from Craigslist, who claims that they can usually fix them within hours, depending on the issue.
It almost sounds like I am having a problem similar to Dirt's, but mine happens from time to time when I try loading up a game... no matter if I try booting the game from the DVD, the hard drive installation, a game demo, or an Xbox Live Arcade game. I sure hope to hell that it's not my HDD that's the problem, as I spent enough money on that 120gb bad boy so many months/years ago.
Here's to hoping that the local guy can fix it for me... otherwise, I might trade in the P.O.S. because quite honestly, I am tired of it breaking down like every other month.
