I know you shouldn't have to, but have you tried calling back for this specialty group? It's a shame, but anymore I just don't believe it when a business promises a return phone call.

Once I get caught up at work I'm going to call MSCS and jump all the hurdles, speak to robots, and swim across Oceans of time, to have someone from another country tell their broken english speaking supervisor to get on the phone with me while I'm put on Hold for ten minutes and get back on the phone only to have the supervisor tell me that someone from the Specialty Group will return my call shortly.

This went exactly as I though it would. The MSCS person told me that my matter was not classified as an urgent matter , so the Support Group did'nt receive the proper information. I then asked for a supervisor and was placed on hold for long periods of time. The Supervisor told me that the matter has now been " escalated " and that the Specialty Group will call me in 24 - 48 Hours. I said I'd prefer the direct line myself, because I no longer trust your companie's promises. They said they don't have a direct number. Then he tells me that " In all honesty, you'd probably receive the call at some time Monday or Tuesday because today is Friday " ( My Blood Boils ) I said well, that's more than 24 - 48 Hours . Do you have any conception of time ??? " I said it's important that someone calls me today, this is my 3rd repair in a months time and I want a New Console or a New 1 Year Warranty before you send me my old console back.
I'm on my way to store now to buy some Super Absorbants

I got the call from the Specialty Group guy Saturday ( Yesterday ) and to my surprise he spoke amazingly clear English, was extremely professional and was eager to help me. He told me that Microsoft would be sending me a new Console and I said fine, that's all I wanted. Being that the SG Guy woke me up out of my Vampiric slumber I was groggy and should've demanded the Elite for my troubles. He sad that he will personally call me back every 48 Hours until this matter is closed.
So I'm going to sell my old/new console to my friend and buy and Elite if I sees one today and get a Super Delux Warranty. Now my Question is if I do get an Elite can I do the Data Trasfer by puting my Old 20 Gig HD in the Elite and trasferring the Data to the Elite's 120 Gig ???
Congrats on the problem resolution, Nun! I can only hope that my repair is not as horrid as yours! My 360 was sent on Thursday for repair. I hope to get it back by the end of next week!

My friend just got his 360 back on Friday, it had only broken once before it came in, and he didn't have to pay any shipping or extra fees. Lucky bastard, he bought a PS3 while it was broken. Nun, I hope that guy pulls through.
Everybody should just exchange their 360 for a Wii.

Yeah, I'ma get right on top of that Wii situation. It would make sense too, since I traded my Super Nintendo in for that Sonic the Hedgehog handheld game from Tiger Electronics back in the day.
I can now say that after microsoft having my 360 for 1 full week, they can not update me on the status of my broken 360. I am not frustrated....yet, but how long does it take to investigate a console?

It's because all the Techs are standing around a table scratching their heads wondering what to do with my console.
I sincerely apologize for this inconveinance and certainly understand your frustration with this unfortunate situation. I'm fine. Thank you very much for asking.
