MY dad had a Computer Tech come to my office once because his Tower was messed up. The Tech cracked open the tower and the fan was messed due to excessive cigarette smoke. Of course, my dad sticking up for his cigarettes denied the claim.
I penned him with the nick-name Smoke-Stack Jack. He's the most irresponsible smoker I've ever seen.
How small is the room you're playing in? Unless you're barracaded in a closet, smoking cigars, I highly doubt it'd be due to smoking.
I smoke constantly when I'm playing, and I see no discoloration on my 360.
Perhaps the plastic is discoloring from heat? Touch the yellowed areas next time you're playing for a few hours, see if they're real hot.
I'm not sure...if I had to estimate, I'd say around 15x20?
But I don't think it's becase of heat, really. My 360 doesn't run as hot as I thought it would, and I'm surprised by it, I think my PS2 gets hotter than the 360. Plus, I have my AC air vent shooting straight towards it, which helps with the heat.
Wait, maybe it's just dust shooting from the air vent..I should change the direction of it.

I would definitely suggest that you do this... you have no idea how much dust/dirt/pet dander/hair/etc. etc. can get "kicked" out of an air duct.
Bad idea to have that pointing in the general direction of your console... all of that stuff from the ductwork is just getting drawn into the back of your console, all because of the fans that are trying to keep the 360's insides cool.
I just think your 360 hasnt been brushing its teeth.
If that is the case, his 360 might be English. All English people have horrible teeth that are tea stained.
I was just wondering for those who have had friends who have sent their 360 back.
My friend from school is on my 360 friends list (whoa the concept!) and I noticed he logs on every now and then...... His 360 was sent to Microsoft on Saturday and he doesn't even use the X-Box website.
I was just wondering if this could be Microsoft testing his 360 because he was a little worried when I told him, over paranoid if you ask me. I personally couldn't care less about it, but he wanted me to ask anyway.

Oh well if their repairing it then yeah they will test out the 360 with connection so therefor the account will go online for testing so its all right, no one has stolen his account lol.
K..like, I have movies on my computer that I want to watch on my 360, but when I got to the video section in my dashboard, it says no Videos can be found. I finally got a router, so set my **** up and all that, the streaming is working right, I can stream my pics and music, but not my videos.
Possible that you don't have the right licensing for the videos.
If they are downloaded, chances won't work no matter what you do. The 360 sees it as illegal content and says BAM! to you and your pr0n.
I was also just reading that with this new spring update, anyone who trys to download content (from marketplace) without paying for it will be "blocked".
I would burn it to a DVD, or put it on a flash drive/PSP, then it will work.
Flasg drives are the answer to the world's problems, just put the ozone layer on a flash drive and open the file when 95% of the population has skin cancer; saving the other 5% and cutting down on overcrowded places.
Nerp. I did some research, and they are just wrong files types. They have a program that can transcode them into the right stuff, so I'm going to try that.
So...um...I had an accident, and by accident I mean I dropped my 360. It landed on the packaging box, so I didn't sweat it, but when I turned it on, I took longer to load on the initial start up, and the raction time from me hitting a button to **** moving on my screen is delayed like 2 seconds.
Should I call Microsoft?
--EDIT--
**** ****, nvm. I unplugged everything, let it set for a minute, then plugged everything back in and it's running normal.
