The graphics are pretty damn good folks. They arent perfect but pretty good. i would have given them a 9.5 atleast but i noticed at times my foot would be halfway through the mat if i was on the ground or arm etc....nothing gamebreaking ofcourse but for review purposes i just couldnt give it higher than an 8.5 because of this. The motions of the fighters is well done and hit detection is pretty spot on. The graphics hold up pretty well considering all that is going on and what can go on (meaning with so many moves available for it to not stutter step or clip its impressive) rated on graphics- 8.5
Controls
The controls are a two way street. I could see how they could turn some people off because they are so in depth. If you go in thinking your gonna pull off all th emoves out of the box without the tutorial you WILL have another thing coming. With time and practice though this is one beast of a fighter.Once you learn all the ins and outs of the game (standing fighting/grappling, ground fighting/grappling, throws etc) you can simply run shit. Again though i will mention for the people just wanting to check it out realize you cant just jump into this game and go unbeaten without some practice and a run through of the tut. Rated-8
Online
Online is fun don't get me wrong but i fault the developers for one thing....why couldnt they have punished quitters in some way???? i played about 5 matches on line. lost my first 2 in the last round but atleast they were close...i don't mind losing like that. but the last 3 games people quit out because i was owning them in the ground game and then had messages sent to me saying i was a pu$$y for going on the ground...umm EXCUSE ME its IN THE GAME!!!! Well needless to say it ruined possibly a great experience for me and i could see the longevity of this game taking a hit if they dont patch this some how.I would have also rated it a 9 for online if it wasn't for this happening.Other than that though i only saw a little slow down on 1 game and it wasnt for long. rated online- 7
Overall i would rate this game a 8.5
I would say RENT unless you are a fan of this type of game or of UFC itself. If you love watching anything, rent the pay pre views or watch them and are into anything UFC related then it would be a MUST BUY for you!
Just to add im really not into UFC so i tried not to let that affect my review. I only knew of a few of the guys so im sure i would have enjoyed it more if i had been into it more.But i still had fun.

Agreed about the online part. I have a friend that has received messages like "Pu$$y head kicks." "Don't do moves that I'm not blocking." People are just looking for any excuse to not lose.

That's why I don't play 1 vs 1 sports games with random people. I actually had a guy on madden tell me I was slowing down the game by waiting for him to pick an offence before I picked my defence and I should just pick something fast. That was the last time I played a sports game online.
This review is pretty good. One thing I hope they fix is the replays. When your playing the game, everything looks perfect. When they show the replay, for some reason a lot of times it doesn't look like you even hit the guy and then he flys back. At least it doesn't ruin the game play though.
If you're in the Army, get this game. Countless drunken nights have been spent with the guys playing this game. Screaming, bitching, yelling, cheering, etc. go on when we're drinking and throw this game in. Loser hands over the controller, simple as that. In a few cases we ignore the game and actually end up doing combatives ourselves haha.

That was the last time I played a sports game online. 
Countless drunken nights have been spent with the guys playing this game. Screaming, bitching, yelling, cheering, etc. go on when we're drinking and throw this game in. Loser hands over the controller, simple as that. In a few cases we ignore the game and actually end up doing combatives ourselves haha.
