Sacred 2:Fallen Angels
This game is pretty cool if you are into Diablo/Baldurs gate type games. Since there really aren't any other games like it on xbox right now it helps this game out alot. I will admit I don't really know how well it would hold up against one of the mentioned games at the beginning if they were to drop on the 360. Overall I think its a decent game though and does what it sets out to do.

Story for the most part is non existent unless you like reading loads and loads of text. There is however tons and I mean TONS of side missions and quests to do so if you're into to fetch quests for xp and loot then you will be happy here.There are tons of gear and weapons as well so if you like to loot items and to see what cool thing you have gotten then you will also love this game for that.

Overall its a pretty fun game with only minor graphical hickups and slowdown but nothing game breaking.

Controls
The controls aren't bad but nothing groundbreaking either. Its' pretty simple button mashing (either for regular attacks or combo attacks, special attacks) but I will say that how they implemented the control scheme was great. Each button controls an attack or spell etc. with the pull of a trigger (L or R) you can have access to even more slots for weapons for attacks or spell, combos. Hopefully other games like this will utilize this control scheme.(this is also why I rated it an 8 instead of a 7 for controls.)

Now this is the tricky part here.....to be honest i would have given this game a 10 on co-op if it werent for one major mistake by the developer. Here's the story....

i helped a friend beat the game on his story mode before people started figuring this out...it was pretty cool and all but when he started popping off achievs and asked if i got them...i didnt. why you ask??????well apparently the person who invited you only gets achievs for the story and not the others joined with him...so i still have to beat it with my own guy AGAIN......but thats not too bad...knocked it down 2 points for that alone though.

Now reason why i enjoy the co-op and gave it such a high score is that its FUN! even if you are only playing Free mode with one other person its fun. The enemies are harder and you dont get bored just playing by yourself. Atleast this way you can bullshit around as you kill things and loot. The looting system is also very fair and cool. Nobody goes away feeling ripped off.

Overall i would rate this game a 7.5
(would have rated higher if not for some small annoying issues.)

I would say RENT unless you are a fan of this type of game. If you love mindless killing and looting for that next cool rare though its a MUST BUY!

I agree with everything you just said except for the online part. That's only because I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.

Snowblind Studios, the makers of Baldur's gate Dark Alliance /Champions of Norrath / Return to Arms, have been working on something for the past few years. I'm hoping that they make something like sacred 2 only better. I replayed those game more times that I can count. /hijack

I agree with Lu's review. Me and Sypher played co-op a few hours ago and he got some achievements that I don't have.

I'd say I agree with your review. I haven't played too much of it yet but it would be a better game if they worked on the story more. There are so many side quests that you kind of forget about the main story. I believe Dragon Age: Origins will be similar to this and should be a lot better.
