Do i have to verify my account in order to use the upgrades such as front grips, and ghille suits, etc...?

No. Just beat the single player game and you unlock everything but two characters.

This isn't to much on the "tips and tactics" type of topic by the way.

Also you don't verify on Socom II. This is a Socom II section not Socom 3.
