use burst if you want to hit someone long or mid distance. Full auto for close range battles works fine

M4a1sd Burst
I like to use that then go straight for the m16 to get know when i use it the funny thing is that when first stated to play i always had it on burst all the time and not auto. It all depends what u started off with auto or burst in my recent trys i find that i get more head shot with the burst that the auto and dont have to reload as often.

i usually always keep every gun on full auto but i only shoot one bullet at a time if their a ways away. i would say just keep it on full auto cause if ur tryin to pick someone off and someone starts sprayin at your back u can just turn around and own them full auto.

The main weapons I use now in SOCOM 2 are the AK-105, and the AKS-74. At far ranges, I will fire off 1-3 rounds at a time at the target. Once I get into an "up-close" engagement, I'll always go full-auto.

With every gun apart from the M14 I like to get the full volume of fire, so i rock and roll it most of the time... M14 I use single shot at all but the shortest of ranges

We don't need 25 people saying the same thing...there is no point.

u definetly have to use burst at a decent range and the full auto when the get up in ure face.however in the long run i prefer burst becuase more times than not the person is a good distance away from u.

Again as everyone else says burst is best at mid ranges and auto goes with up close and personal but it mainly depends on the type of gun you are using like a M16A2 goes best with it on auto while a M14 does good with it on single. And we all know that the M60E3 is one of the best autos.
