do you Snipe Straft?

I may be retarded but I find it easier to straft while I snipe in games like FF snipebounds, or Vig snipe bound. Basicully levels where im not trying to stay hidden. but when im scoping someone I always seem to straft to help me move the crosshairs onto the target. It actually really helps, its harder for me to get headshot snipes without doing this technique. So tell me other techniques you use.

Yes he does mean strafe, he just cant spell it. Strafing is the best way to snipe imo only if you are playing snipers only or if you have been spotted. It keeps enemy snipers from hitting you easily and it steadies your crosshairs to a degree where it is easier to hit something.

Moving both thumbs gives you more of a feeling of control, rather than using only your turning thumb and letting the other hand do nothing.

Wow I thought it was straft lol. Well "strafing" has a better feel to it and its easier for me to get headshots cause with the left thumb you kinda control the horizontal movement of the crosshairs, and right thumb the vertical. If you dont do this on sniper bounds or like Big Red said spotted I suggest you do so now.

Depends on if im seen or not. If im not seen, ill just prone down and work for the shot. but if i'm sniping against other snipers, or someone else sees me i will strafe/back up while trying to shoot them. It's a lot harder for the opponent to hit you while you're doing this, especially if they're sniping too.

I don't really stafe, I move backwards when I'm about to take a shot at someone. It steadies makes the scope alot steadier for me.

I love it when they do that, they think they can run away and boom they're dead.

I prefer to prone undetected and get that scope extra steady for that one magical shot. Then I always move to a new spot unless using the SR25-SD.

Whats the point of crouching and strafing when you can prone? It just makes you a bigger target.

IMO one of the biggest advantages to being a sniper is staying low and undetected for that one shot.

But when you ARE detected and being sniped/attacked, crouchstrafing is a good solution. Obviously i would never do it if i am hidden and unknown.
