Anyone besides me use the M40A1?

Nowadays, when i snipe, its no longer fun to use OSOKs (One Shot, One Kill). I don't feel the chalenge of lining up someones chest for a shot and hitting them with a .50 cal or Browning round. Who the hell ever heard of using .50 cal bullets on human targets? thats a waste of ammo. So, to compensate, i use the M40. It uses a 7.62mmx51mm round (same as M14 and M60) and is solid as a rock through the sights. You can stand with this thing, and still get less rifle bob than an M87ELR in prone. Its accurate as hell, and has little recoil. Problem is you need a head shot, and thats what turns so many people of of this gun. I belive more people should use this gun, and if you master it, you will get respect from others or somthing like that

I love the M40A1. It's amazing. If you can get a headshot right away you're set. I also find it's best if you take an M11 or 226 with you.

I hear what you guys are saying. I never really have used the M40, at least to my memory. I always use the SR25-SD or I just snipe with the M4A1SD. I like staying silent but since I always have to go for headshots anyway with those two guns, maybe I'd be good with the M40. I'm good at headshot sniping, it's so fun! (Especially with the 552SD!)

Not that I am an exclusive sniper, but when I do snipe I almost always use the M40A1. I just love the way it feels. Of course by my side will be either an M9 or a 9mm. I just love killing people with guns that nobody uses. Kinda like teachin' them a lesson yanno? :P

It is a fun gun to use but it its weaker than the M8 and just as slow in reloading so I don't use it much. Like Al said I prefer the SR-25-SD.

i argree i would use it but im not that good of a sniper so the 82 and 87 are my friends :)
