HK5 more deadly then you think it is

After getting owned while i was playing around with the HK5k. i tried the HK5. it was a night stalker no bombs, and i was bored. so i decided to use the underrated HK5. everyone knew that the HK5SD was awesome and so was the HK5K. people knew the HK5 would be good but no one uses it. (well from what i see). So i decide to use it, i go 18-3, i was host (T1 connection). i thought "hey the HK5 rocks". i play more games like Desert Glory, Blood Lake, Crossroads ECT. and i think i have found out how to use this gun to its best. first things first, is that you will get no where aiming from the chest. these bullets are like BB gun bullets. If you notice the HK5 sprays like nobody knows. Aim near the neck to head area and spray, spray like sprinklers. it will bound to get a headshot. if you come behind someone, same thing just spray there back. after that game i got 19 headshots (hehe i tked someone on accident). Its kinda how the 552 is. you have to recoil for the head. well in the HK5's case you have to spray for the head. so for any of you HK5K fans try the HK5. Try the trick and i swear it will be like BOOM HEADSHOT!!

You guys are going to laugh at me for this, but I must've looked like the biggest n00b in Socom 1. I always played Desert Glory, as a SEAL. I would run up the middle with an HK5, and run in a diagonal path from the right side of the middle, down to the Three Story Building, while shooting the clip into the fog. I would pause at the small box at the edge of the Three Story Building, pull out my handgun, and run in a diagonal path twords the box right before the stairs shooting. After that (if I didn't die during the process), I'd get killed or last the rest of the round. Needless to say, I got zero kills, and gave up with the gun, because I thought it was the guns problem. I changed guns later, changed strategies, and started killing, but never went back to the HK5.

In Socom 2, I'll pick up the HK5 every now and then.

I use it about 80% of the time and I'll use it up against anything. It does and always has owned. The funny thing is that most people think it sucks. If you ask me, if there really WAS such a thing as a "noob gun", the HK5 would be it! Try it in a frostfire respawn. Aim for the head and unload 30 bullets in a few seconds. The only tough part of mastering the gun is ammo conservation. In a respawn it's no problem but a real game is a different story.

If any of you do remember Al Giordino made a thread about how to use the HK5(SD) and since i read it, and since then its one of my guns of choice. This really isnt anything new.

Best gun in the game in my opinion. Almost every kill is a head shot.

yea the HK5 is very deadly. just aim for the neck to the head and your bound to get a headshot.
