Me and my roommate get intoxicated quite often while we play Socom. The following is some stupid tactics that we came up with that are really fun to pull off. These can either be taken seriously or simply for your reading pleasure.

1) "Kage Bushin (Shadow Clone)"
If one of your teammates is not playing instead of voting him try the following. Keep a close watch as to which enemy is fragging him. Usually once some1 from the other team figures out that he is not playing they will rush to that spot for an easy kill (keep a good eye on which way he aproaches your non-playing teammate). After he gets a few free kills he will most like be approaching without much caution. Position yourself right behind your teammate in his exact postion (most likely crouch from the spawn). As soon as the unsuspecting seal/terrorist arrives to claim his kill he will drop your teammate. At this moment your partner will fall over and you will be right in his spot. Unload your weapon as your opponent craps his pants.

2) "Demolition Mischief 1"
Edited due to glitching content. So you know it is considered a glitch by id say 90% of the community and especially this site. The people who argue against it being a glitch are usually the fackwads that do glitch and feel the need to take up for thier balllessness-Lu

3) "Demolition Mischief 2(Terr only)"
Grab the bomb off the spawn and deposit it over a dead body with a mine. Camp and repeat as neccesary. After a few rounds lay off the mines and just randomly drop the bomb. Approaching Seals will be a little cautious of the bomb and will not notice you approaching from behind.

4) "Huh? What was that noise"
When down to a few guys left on the board instead fragging everyone you see simply follow them for as long as possible. This drives their dead teammates crazy as they see you diving behind bushes and boards everytime their guy turns around. A few rounds later and the other team will get quite insecure about running around on the map as last man standing. (watch how much more they randomly turn around in the end).

5) "Mining mischief"
Sneak up behind an opponent(usual sniping spots) and place a mine. Sneak around and jump in his face with guns blazing. Works especially well in Vigilance buildings as you can safely scare them through the windows.

6) "Flashbangs"
If you run into a camper that is always mining his post round after round try this. Approach him from a safe distance and make sure he can see you the whole time. Toss a Flashbang next to him but in an are where he knows he won't be affected (also make sure you are safe as well). Stay in plain view of the camper until the grenade detonates. As soon as it does strafe straight into a wall where he can see you. Keep running in one direction until he assumes you were hit and will take his time to move and attempt to kill you (he will most likely be laughing at how "dumb" you are as he appoaches). Once you have a shot take it along with the last laugh.

We had a lot of other stupid tricks but unfortunately the alcohol usually set in fast and quick and the awe moments were quickly forgotten to the intense vomiting. Please feel free to post any other stupid tricks you may have.

Just remembered another one.

Set one of your taunts to something like this:

"PSST... Check on your left..."

Approach your opponent from the right(mostly 1on1 scenarios) and activate the taunt. In the moment of frustration most people will do whatever advice is provided. For instance when you hear a whistling noise and someone yells "DUCK!" you will most likely duck. Most people will actually look to the left even though it's not the smartest thing to take advice from someone trying to kill you.

Not sure if this one actually works but my socom name is " !? ". It's intended for when Metal Gear Fans try to pick me off. They put their reticle on you and a "!?" pops up by your head. Not sure if this is really throwing anyone off but i'm sure it's amusing.

I have a few tips like these:
1.mine-sniping:
Find a good spot to snipe, such as down one of the spawn alleys in crossroads. Run down the street and place mines in all the little nooks and hideyholes along the road. Then sit back and snipe. When a SEAL appears, go for the snipe, and if you miss them, they will usually start jumping and ducking, and try to get behind the nearest wall to hide. BOOM!!

2.Scary taunts:
I have a taunt that says "I see you!". It's very fun if you have a taunt like this, the next time you see a guy standing still, give this taunt, then pop his head immediately after. Once you have done this just one round, the guy will freak out and run around everytime you give the taunt. So once you do it, for the rest of the game, if you ever find your opponent is in a good position that is easy to defend and that you would not particularly like to have to storm, give this taunt, and he will move somethwere easier to attack!

3.Play "A.F.PS2.":
Pretend to be "away from playstation". I do this ALL the time and it works beautifully. At the start of the first round, leave your character sitting at the spawn, and DONT MOVE. As the game goes by, a wandering enemy is sure to stroll along to check for free kills. Watch as he walks up next to you and aims for the perfect headshot. Sometimes they'll even take out their pistol to be cute. Right when the guy aims at your head, open up with a machinegun or shotty and scare the fack out of him!! The only problem I have for this is those paranoid enemies who spray the hell out of you because they're so afraid you could resume playing at any minute.
PS: I wouldn't advise you do this more than once in the same game, people usually won't make that mistake again!
