Here's what I do when I play defense as a Terrorist:

• The blue line is where I camp (somewhere on the line - I go prone with a weapon... preferably an M60 because when you go prone with that it's like an HK5 with ub3r damage power)

• The green paths are the intended SEAL paths toward me.

• The red dots are where I plant my mines to defend from the SEALs.

What I do is camp with an M60 and watch the Bomb road (shown in the picture above as the 'Courtyard.' I turn around every now and then to check my back to make sure that I don't get hit from behind, but the mines (if put in good places) will usually take care of the enemies.

The reason I post it in this thread is because if you have a teammate who mines up the awning, this strategy will be a great complement.


ALSO, as a sidenote... when you camp on the blue line (in the wall's shadow) and there's lots of corpses around, SEALs will almost always overlook you. If I had a nickel for every time a SEAL ran past me while I laid down there...

Oh yeah, When you camp at the blue line, you can see the end wall of the Courtyard through the fog without your binoculars or scope, and you can also see all of your spawn area - so that's a good place to camp and get some range kills.

i remember my first strategy after i learned how 2 play online all i do in crossroads as a terr was grab da m3 12 gauge run up left alley and chill behind the sign and wait and i almost always got someone lol no i look back at it and man i sucked then that was about what 5000, 6000 kills ago

in sujo i plant mine near the back door on the water line if u walk into the water just a bit then put them there, i also put one inbetween the small shack and the large building to the right of terr. spawn, i walk up as close to the edge without falling then plant a mine and it falls in the water next to the edge, gets them every time. I also plant a mine in the firepit in night stalker.

I like to put a mine on crossroads at the switch to blow either bridge. Then when the greedy point whores come in to get that point they get blown up.

Be original, find your own places, that way you'll catch the enemy off guard. Also, when you've planted a bomb or a team-mate has, put a mine on top.
