Weapons and their Power

I made me a list of the weapons and how may shots each take to kill.
Correct me by posting if anyone is sure they know the truth, but i think i got it.



1-shot kills: DE.50, M87ELR, M82A1A, any 12 guage close enough

2-shot kills: SASR,SR-25, M40A1, M14, M60E3, SP-10

3-shot kills: M4A1, M16A2, AK-105, AK-47, AKs-74, RA-14, IW-80-A2, STG 77, Mark 23(<---not too sure about that one)

4-shot kiils: 552, M63A

5-shot kills:none, i dont think.

6-shot kills: HK5K, HK5, 9MMSUB, F90, M9, 9MM pistol, M11, F57, Model 18, 226

These were all chest shots.

This would be sweet if someone completed this list. When i did a test it was:
IW-3 shots
m4a1-2 shots
M4a1SD-3 shots.

M16-3 shots

Only tested these cause those are the only guns i would use. (excluding IW, just curious.)

lol, don't be ashamed. We all use it sometimes! I'm not afriad to say I do, but I just do if I have a horrible score and I'm playing badly, Then I'll whip it out.

The only people who should be ashamed are the ones who use it EVERY TIME they're seals.

Now that you put it in front of everyone the caliber of ammunition in all of the guns in the game, they can see it. The sniper rifles, 1 shot kills, then you move to 12 gauges, which if you get shot you're dead. Obviously these guns both have their drawbacks, but they make up for it with more powerful ammo.

But then you get the M40A1, the M14, the SR's, and the M60. The M60 is inaccurate as hell, but packs a large clip of very big bullets. The M14 only has the 20 round clip, so you're almost forced to carry more ammo and less gear, unless you fancy yourself as a MacGyver type. The M40 is a nice sniper rifle in the right hands. Any of these guns will lay you down in just two hits.

Then you get the RA-14, and the AK-47, not quite as powerful as the M14, but more accurate, and almost as powerful. They are more powerful than the IW, STG, M4A1's, the 552's, and the M16, but just barely. The STG (like many have said) is basically an IW or RA-14, without the pure accuracy. It's close. Everyone knows the M4A1 is right up there, and there's lots of M16 users. Only downside to the M16 is it only being semi-auto, so some people won't use it. M63 wildly innaccurate, like the M60, with smaller ammunition.

The only thing wrong with the IW is that the makers of the game made it unrealistically accurate to be true to life. Because the guns ammunition really IS that strong. I don't have the exact data or name on the gun right now, but I believe it's made by Enfield.

This is also why, when you default into a terrorist game and you have the 552, you don't do badly if you hit your shots. It's slower, but it's got the same power as the M16.

AK-105 and AKS-74 next. The weaker AK's, most would agree that they have superior accuracy to their brother AK-47. Most would also agree they aren't quite in the same class powerwise as an M4A1, an IW, or an M63A.

The pistols and subs are easy.. the DE isn't quite as accurate as the other pistols, but it's way stronger with its 50 cal. The F57 doesn't pack as much of a punch, and is almost as innaccurate. And then lo and behold, it's the Mark's and the SP-10.

All the rest of the guns are for the brave and skilled obviously as they are the weakest guns in the game.

People get by with the HK's, and the F-90, and the 9mm sub - those are also usually the people that go 25-3 when you put a M14, IW, RA, or M4 in their hands.

I didn't want to just take the list and make another thread about this, but I'm sure if you think that might not be bad idea - you're the site admin and could move this just fine. Smile

The 552 only takes 3 chest shots and the Mark 23 is just as powerful as the SP-10, just 6 rounds less in each mag but it is more accurate.

I am proud to say that I have never used the IW-80 in game except the few times when I needed to pick up a weapon. I have never taken one with me into the field :D

nope, i dont use it, i pull out the m14 if im doin ******,
