Simple Flanking
Anyone every play with a clan that can flank and shoot?
unstopable.... honestly its the easiest consept but people like to do their own things in this game, so its hard to make it realistic.. oh well
blind sided!

This will be easier to execute in S3, the maps will be bigger, vehicles can create diversions, larger teams to have people to flank, so it will be a usefull tool.

well see there is a problem using military tactics in the game somtimes because the other side doesnt always fight as a unit which can throw a wrench in yoru plans.the best real tactic is a 2 man or 3 man system moving up and takeing ppl out as you go. flanking does work good sometimes but others it just falls apart due to enemies splittin up and or rushing strait through.i do think once its 32 players and bigger boards to play on it will allow the implimintation of more military tactics.

well not being a d!ck but thats not a flank atleast not what i see in the pick. looks like people going the same direction on each side.a true flank and most widely used is when you have a small team of men hold the enemys attention by providing suppression fire towards the enemy while the other team moves around there blind side.the key is the suppression fire being laid down as a distraction for the flanking unit.

Flank:
The right or left side of a military formation: an attack on both flanks.
The right or left side of a bastion.
Fflanked, flank·ing, flanks:
To protect or guard the flank of.
To menace or attack the flank of.
To be placed or situated at the flank or side of: Two stone lions flanked the entrance.
To put (something) on each side of: flanked the driveway with tall shrubs.
As you can see, flanking is when you come at a guy from their left or right SIDE, not exactly diagonally, although I see the point you were trying to make. However I think your just more referring to pairing up, so when you attack an enemy, each of you can come from a different angle.. and that sounds good and works, but it's not flanking.
The best way to flank, like Lu said, is to have one guy hold the enemies attention so their looking forward, meanwhile your squad FLANKS them (comes at them from their side). I actually discuss doing this in my FAQ where I say that one guy should throw a bunch of nades one way to cause a distraction (so they are all looking over that way) while the rest of your team comes at them from another way.. that's basically flanking.. Or have one or two guys start a big commotion/battle and try and get everyone looking their way, while the rest of your team comes at the enemies flank or rear.
