well not being a d!ck but thats not a flank atleast not what i see in the pick. looks like people going the same direction on each side.a true flank and most widely used is when you have a small team of men hold the enemys attention by providing suppression fire towards the enemy while the other team moves around there blind side.the key is the suppression fire being laid down as a distraction for the flanking unit.

I thought the "X's" meant one person.

The idea of flanking is that you hit them from the side.

Splitting up and hitting them from the flank is what I saw being described above my picture's post. Excuse me.

Besides, it's a crappy MSPaint picture. Don't expect circles and swirls and sh1t to explain your details.

Flanking is useless in Socom 2 though. But with more people, tactics will be better. Now it really depends on the skill of players rather than strategies. But now with 16 players, tactics will come in much more handy.
But my clan already has a tactic, basically have 8 stay back and 8 rush, they can have their defensive and offensive channel on and actually USE it.
