I find that the best thing if your having a bad game is to get up for a minute and get a drink, or a snack or go to the bathroom etc when the next round starts. Then come back like a minute in, assess whats going on, and try and help out and get some kills. I just think this works because it gets you out of the repetitiveness of whatever you've been doing and also chills you out. What happens to me is sometimes if I do bad initially, I try and make up for it by being a superstar and getting a bunch of kills, but if that fails, you just dig yourself into a deeper hole. Also sometimes they just kill you every round, while your going all your favorite ways that usually work great.... and it's frustrating because now you have 4 different guys and they are all expecting you each way you usually like to go. And now instead of your favorite ways helpin you pwn, your the one getting pwned.
Either way, by now your probably feeling all pissed off and antsy, and you want kills, but your not thinking straight. Take that minute break to get up and walk around and calm down. Then hopefully you can come back and pick off a few guys who maybe were already wounded, or perhaps your team outnumbers them and you can get a kill or two with some support. Then once you get it rolling and you have a good round or two, it picks up. It doesn't take much to turn a game around, but I think you have to get your head on straight before you can make that huge turn around. Getting mad doesn't help at all, getting psyched up does, but you have to remain calm and collected... and also break out of the mold of whatever you've been doing, since it obviously hasn't been working if your not satisfied with your performance thus far.
