The hostages start to move when the C4 is planted, so the Claymore will most likely knock them down instead of killing them. I use a similar tactic in Fish Hook at the the top back door of the balcany.

Wow i used to play this level all the time adn pepople are jsutposting this? I always sniping or not carry claymores in this level. Every time there is a camper in the h-room hten i doi the little u sue 2 claymore at both the breach and the doorway. YOU BLOW THE CLAYMORES RIGHT BEFORE THE WALL BLOWS. The smoke goes throught the wall...the sound makes the terr def as hell...and then the C4 blows, not killing ne hostages. Now everyone knws about the little split screen area where the terr sit and all u have to do right after the C4 blows is unoad a clip rigth there. Even snipe tht spot...make sure u sit right next to the steps of the basement and you will get the kill almmost everytime

Another tip on planting C4 is to "mask" the tick sound it makes when you plant it. Throwing a g-nade on the top floor from the steps and you jsut running back downstairs and planting usallly the timing is jsut right so they cant hear it you plant it. the hostages move but they might jsut htink it was the nade, or a mine u might have blown up!!

Don't bother witht he C4 or claymores because I guarentee you the hostages are nearby the terrorist, just use flashbangs, Works everytime.

well the hostages move away with c4 and the claymores wont kill nehting throught a WALL it is jsut a distraction technique cause there is a lot of smoke form them
