For those of you that use HKs, SMGs or the M14 even, thses are guns for you. At first glance, the AKs are nothing special; a copy of the german made STG 44, and having several variants, it has no distinguishing features, no special tricks....its just another gun.

I'm shure there are plenty of people out there like me, who use the M14 all the time, and only mess with a few other select guns. And im shure you have tried this gun out in a respawn, and it worked like crap. Well, these are my new guns.

How do i use them? AKs have a habit of not kicking alot (except the AK47, which should be handled a bit diferently), so you can keep the crosshair on someone without having to worry about placement too much. The problem in Aks: the rate of fire and places the bullets are actualy going. This could be discourageing to some, but this is the AKs strong point: the sheer randomness of bullets. Although that seems weird, belive me, its a comforting fact. Lets say your playing a Dg, terrorists, and you pick up an AKS-74U, and you get into a fire fight. The bullets are more concentrated than an M14, but powerful enough to be the next M14. I treat it like the M14, except with more of an SMG attitude. My brother treats it like the HK5 because he is all about headshots. But the great thing about is its such a flexible gun...you can apply the HK method, the LMG method...you can even use these like IWs and still have it work well. You can charge into a group of well armed players and take out the whole group if you know how to use this gun. Its worth mastering.

The AK-105 is like a big HK5 that packs the power of an M4A1, or an accurate M4 with a slower rate of fire. Use it like you would the Hks, or like an M4. This gun can sweep boards, and it could do it with head shots or with total body shots. The great thing about these guns is they have a great range, they have steady fire, and they ALL PACK A PUNCH. The AK -47 is my least favorite...i only pull it out when im pissed. This is stricly a body shot gun. Going for headshots takes time and practice with this gun.

The AK-47 i have found to be the most prominent of the AKs. It has a faster fire rate then the other two, its power is decent, and its accurate as all hell sometimes. I keep my crosshair on the upper chest and just hold the ***** down. These guys were using IWs the other night in vig and Frost Fire, and I whiped the shyte out of them. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO WEEN YOURSELF OFF OF THE M 14, THIS IS YOUR GUN

Good advice, I'll have to try it. Personally I don't like the guns but it may be because they are hard to get headshots with.. which is my forte. So I'll try them and go for the body more. The problem I usually have is their slow fire rate. So when it lags, it seems like it shoots 2 bullets over 5 seconds.. then all of a sudden I'm dead. Thats my major problem with them.

I only use the 47 for terr. The thing that i love is that because of its slow rate of fire, the xhairs has time to come down before the next shot is fired, minimalizing the need to compensate for recoil.

I love the 47...packs a nice punch to it, you just have to have some accuracy and it'll get the job done

I view the AKS-74 as a sniper-rifle without a scope. It's powerful as hell and inaccurate as hell unless you sit still and focus on where you shoot at. I use it whenever I play a map that is too small for sniping but I feel the need to pick some bastard off.

yes the AK-47 is stronger than the AKS-74 but the AKS makes up for the lack of strength with its higher fire rate.personally i prefer the standard AK-74 over the AKS ANYDAY!! the sheer pack of the punch is very noticeable on crossroads, etc (close combat maps) but it nor the AKS is no match for 2 or more seals with M4's,etc so watch out.also if its laggy be prepared to switch guns.now if its descent conditions you can do some damage with these weapons but again they are SITUATIONAL weapons.i aim center mass again with the AK due to impact of the bullets and you can consentrate them in the chest easier while trying to avoid being shot by multiple tango's (figured id throw that word in there for yall

once again remember...PICK your fights with the AK series...dont just roll up in a crowd of seals and think your rambo...you will drop faster than a....ahhh nevermind you get the point

i like the ak-47 its a great gun i hate the m14 because in 3 seconds its out of ammo and the m60 is to slow but the ak-47 is i dont know i kill people easy with it ... kinda like a smaller verson of a ra-14 the aks-74 is the gun i use if i need a chargeing rifle kinda like m4a1 and i havent like the ak-105 sense i walked up beind a terroest shooting him in the back for about 10 seconds and he turned around and killed me with m14

personally my favorite out of all the aks is the 105 lol but yea.. i dont really know which ak is better on terrorist the ak47 or aks74.. can someone tell me which one is better?

Personally i like the 47 better because it has higher fire rate. But it depends, it really does. Just try both out in respawns and see which one you prefer.
