A quick tip will be to always remember it is triple shot, sometimes I find myself holding down the trigger and basically prevents me from shooting for a couple seconds. Aim direct, this is a hard one since so many people spray fire in games. You cannot kill effectively with spray fire from an m16. You also get the luxury of not having to aim at the head all the time. The m16 is powerful and wherever you hit someone, only a few bursts will bring 'em down.

I had it mastered until I took a break from SOCOM. I'm still OK with it, but I'm not half as good as before.

thanks guys. By the way i had already used the search function, but while the tips provided seemed satisfactory, they didn't seem to help me much. I trhink i have some sort of block with the m16 or something. But i shan't give up. lol

The key to the M16 is chest and back shots (for me), If you are in an intense gun fight, don't aim to high or too low. The chest is where you want to aim, the M16A2 has a lot of power behind it and will succeed when in an intense fight for the kill.

I'm not that good with it, but i'm working on it. I keep getting a lot better. I wish it was the M16 A1 though, because it's full auto.
