No Scope Movement

If you sit long enough without moving the scope on your rifle, it will stop moving. This only works well if you only have one place to cover since you need to move the scope to cover two areas.

Good point. Yeah getting the scope to stop does work great.. takes longer with different guns.. but it even does it with the 552sd which works awesome sometimes. I've gotten some crazy sick headshot snipes before with the 552sd and its all from proning or crouching and then staying still until you can get it to stop in a good point..

Oh yeah sometimes when the crosshairs are still wandering, it will move off the area where you want it to stop on, so gently move it back until you get it to stop where you want. If you move it too roughly (with all guns) it will reset the time it takes to get it still.. so be gentle...

Instead of waiting for it to stop, i would rather do what i usually do, let it wander, and the instant it wanders over their head i pull the trigger. I've gotten some nice m4a1sd snipes with that.

Yeah, this works great if the person in your crosshairs is a sniper. I was just playing and I saw a sniper, and he wasnt goin any where, so I took my time and waited untill it stopped moving and got a nice head shot with the M4A1 SD. But also, when the scope stopps moving, you can move it side to side and it still wont move.

The only time I let it sit still is when I'm a terrorist in Enowapi and I'll snipe on the side of the cliff by the MGL tureet covering the zig-zag path and aim it by the tree and wait till it stops moving, and as soon as they run up I snipe them.(I always cover my tracks by setting mines near me otherwise I'll probably get run up on). I also do it by the front ramp with a 552SD because a lot of seals will stop at the edge of the hill to scpoe/throw nades and etc. and I'll headshot them or I'll headshot them while running up, planting C4 or ruunning along the ledge. Other than that, there's not many maps I like to sit there in scope just to stop it from moving, it's too risky.

Another thing that resets the timer is if you scope out and scope back in again. So basically if you looking through your scope and it is dead still, when you scope out (to 3rd person) or scope further in (from 4x to 8x), it will be moving around again.

I think the time it takes to stop moving varies from gun to gun based on the accuracy of the gun. Regardless of how long it takes I don’t like to wait.
The scope stops wobbling when you are moving too. So I just move side-to-side or forward a little until I get it lined up and take the shot.
There are very few maps with Places that I think are safe enough to sit for more than a few seconds. I like to move from spot to spot checking areas and moving on.
