To get away from a sniper

Personally I prefer running in a direction to their left or right.

Never move in a straight line.

Always mix it up don't keep the same pattern or the sniper will be able to predict your next move then your dead. Never keep it the same, an never go the same direction on a map always keep them guessing.

I'd also like to point out that the best way to dodge a sniper is to anticipate the fact that there is one..

For example, if you see people getting killed by a sniper rifle, take note of where they were located and then where they possibly got sniped from.

Also instead of waiting til a sniper shoots at you and then start dodging, learn the sniper spots that everyone uses.. and then if you go into an open area where you think your vulnerable to being sniped.. start dodging and jumpin and doing the dolphin.. BEFORE he shoots at you. Good example of this would be the middle of Nighstalker if your a Terrorist.. you can guarantee theres a Seal up on the mountain.. so if you go into the middle, stay behind rocks and dodge and jump so they can't get you... If your on Seal and you start on the left, realize there will probably be a Terrorist sniping the left, so be quick and dodge. Basically just learn the common snipe spots and dodge appropriately. It's not like theres unlimited spots for snipers to go... on practically every map theres several spots that are used by snipers 90% of the time. Its rare you see a sniper in a new, unheard of spot, cause new spots usually dont work that good.. So use the knowledge of where they will probably be, to your advantage.

Don't wait for him to take that first shot and miss, and then start dodging... Half the time he wont miss... You got to be anticipating where snipers will be and where they will be covering.

The best way to avoid a sniper shot is the leap frog. Running left or right jumping then as soon as you hit the ground you prone fast then jump up fast from prone barely not stopping but just changing directions. I snipe a lot and its SOOOOO hard to hit guys doing this, I hit them doing it a few times but it was just lucky shots lots of times.

i actually find it easy to pick a guy off in the air (jumping) and diving (easier to do...in my opinion). ive seen somebody do the stop and go thing before. unfortunately he stopped for a bit too long . id say the best way to get away from a sniper is to mix it up, like it was stated before. cuz if u keep doing the same thing the sniper will eventually get u
