Of course the silenced one is less powerful, thats the cost you accept for taking a silenced gun! LOL. Why would anyone in the game ever use the regular m4a1 if the silenced one was equal in power?
Because the silenced one shoots slower.

I prefer the SD version when your camping, or something like that if your the only one left against like 3 people.

But yes when you have the SD its best to be on a jungle map. Maps like Desert Glory, Fish hook, and Crossroads, I think its best for the M4A1 because of the maps kind of territory, its hard to see your muzzle flash anyways.

you say that zipper didn't incorperate the lose of pwer in SD... i think u may be wrong... i think that they did ... cuz in DG i use both and i kill more people with out silenced and it takes more to kill people with SD... but who knows, i just think SD does make a difference

Tips and tactics for M4A1

I own with the M4a1 Silenced in sujo. People have no idea where I could be coming from since there are so many hiding spots I could be at. Im also good at sniping with it at any level. Especially Foxhunt. One time I rushed the mountain and there were no snipers.(Trust me thats one of the luckiest things that can happen) I saw a terrorist at the river and I got a clean headshot on him. Then his partner started nading where he died and I saw where his grenades were coming from, so I hid in the grass and sniped him too. Hiding in grass with this gun is great. Especially in Enowapi. I hid in the grass next to the back breach and as soon as it blew up, a terrorist ran out and I lit his a$$ up. He didn't know what hit him. The silencer seems to add range and accuracy to the M4A1 too. When Im using it, there dosent seem to be a power diffrence. Maybe im just lucky.

Heres the maps I would perfer using the M4A1 silenced at:

1.Sujo
2.Enowapi
3.The Ruins
4.Night Stalker(Don't rush, take your time)
5.Foxhunt
6.Deathtrap(Good outside but stay in darkness inside)
7.Blizzard(Use trees and keep your distance)
8.Any other map with good hiding spots I forgot.

Re: SUJO OWNAGE

The reason you "kill" more people is the regular M4A1 shoots faster so your hitting them with more bullets and they obviously die faster. I dont believe there is a difference in power, just the M4A1SD shoots slower but more accurate which is also why it is better from long distance. Try shooting a M60 or 63 at someone across the map, the accuracy is what affects the distance you can shoot for the rifles(in socom).

i like to use just the regular M4A1 on most maps except for like foxhunt where surprise is really helpful. i dont like it as much because when you get in a gunfight its so silent it can be hard to tell if your shooting over the other peoples lud guns

How would you not be shooting? To my knowledge your gun can't jam.

M4A1=2 shots to the chest and they drop.
M4A1 SD= 3 shots to the chest and they drop.
:) ---I've tested this with my buddy.

They do sometimes though, but I think that's some other glitch/lag/something issue, like when you have an M16 or M3 and you're pushing the button and they just don't shoot... usually happens for me in small enclosed areas and gets me killed
