Fake death

Has any body ever tried the fake death where u get shot at and just go prone. ive done it a couple times and they run right past me and i get and put a few in the back. is this cheap? wuts ur thoughts

I doubt anybody would walk right past you while they battling you. Unless

they are really dumb. In that case you outsmarted him and deserved that

kill, I dont see nothing cheap with it.

I don't see anything cheap about it. If he is to stupid to reliaze you DOVE to the ground, and not fell to the ground he deserves to die...As far as fake a death...I have never done that....The closest thing I have done to faking a death is laying down in the middle of dead bodies....maybe 3 or 4 guys died in the same area in a gun fight...I have laid in them in prone...people sometimes over look you thinking you are just a dead guy.....works great if you have an enemy coming from a distance and you have a SD...all they see is bodies, they can't tell one is in the prone position so usually they look behind them...LOL...

theres no real way to fake a death considering it tells you at the top if you kill someone.i mean really you have to be an idiot, blind, or really not paying attention to think someone diving to the ground died.

i mean im sure most people have layed on dead bodys and had ppl run by them or i bushes etc but like i said not really possible to "fake" your death with it saying at top when you kill someone.now if it didnt say when you died or killed someone that would be a different story

Not only does it say who you killed at the top, but no one dies by diving. Look at all the possible "death moves" when you dies. If someone thought you diving was similar to that, they deserve a kick in the ***.

You guys are calling people dumb for falling for that old trick but it does work. If you are far away from the guys and alot of people are dieing so you cant tell if you got the kill or someone else got it.

I usually dont just drop down and hide but I do hide by bodies if the situation presents itself. Usually Frostfire in the computer room works nice.

maybe its just me buts thats almost as important as watching who has the bomb, and the red indicators of grenades/gunfire near you. i ALWAYS watch if i killed the guy i was shooting at.that is a must, if not your always nervous whos around. maybe if your new to the game then maybe i could see this working but in general i just dont know.

i didnt say it worked all the time if im sitting there and a guy shoots my from far away i just drop it works some times

One could say it pertains to keeping realism, for, in real-life one is unable to decipher death...

In real-life you don't see that the guy is dead unless you like check his heart-beat or something.

I haven't tried to fake death, but I've been fake-killed. I died (or thought I did), but accoring to everyone else, I was lying there with half of my health. I thought that it was cool. I've seen it before, but I got to experience it :P. The problem was that all of the other terrorists called me a coward

. I was threatened with all kinds of torture, and they said that they'd tell Osama (Yikes!

), but we all had a good laugh.
