Well crouching is generally used for a tad better accuracy but mainly used for sniping, or staying somewhat hidden, buts its a bad position when you're running and gunning because when you reload you stop. Plus you don't strafe as fast. Standing is imply for running and gunning mainly. Crouch and prone are for the others.

If you're in the crouch position and you are moving, wether it be in a firefight or just running around and you reload, your guy will sit there and reload. Thats why I prefer stand in most situations...

That's extremely strange. Something must be wrong with mine because I've never had my guy stop moving to reload??

The ONLY time I'm in stand is when I'm chucking grenades, then I'm immediately back in crouch. (or Ill stand to shoot over a wall)

I reload all the time too.. it took me months of having to remind myself to always check how many bullets are left in my clip, so I don't get to a guy and shoot two bullets and have to reload. So I'm ALWAYS reloading, even if my clip is 75% full, I'll reload to a full one. And I have double ammo 90% of the time.

So I'd KNOW if my guy was constantly pausing to reload. But nope.. I just keep on moving. If I'm crouched somewhere and I hit reload, he stops shooting, and you know, he does the reload thing for a few seconds.

I'm seriously bugging out on why he doesn't pause, if thats what its supposed to do.

OK so if your in a firefight and your moving, but your guy is technically in "crouch", when you run out of bullets, your guy doesn't stand there to reload right?? You keep moving around while you reload. In fact I don't think I've ever seen anyone pause in the middle of a fight to reload.
Any good player keeps moving and strafing while he reloads. And these guys are not all in STAND.

So how can this all be correct?

When in a firefight and the guy you are shooting is in crouch when he reloads SOMETIMES he will drop a knee and reload. Play for a while and look for it.

You might think you are in crouch when you are not because at certain times you automatically stand. Like when you get knock down by a grenade or you hurt yourself from falling too far.
I know there are more situations where you automatically stand but I cant think right now. If I play today I'll look for more.

standin, helps reload quicker, as well as its easier to get headshots, becuase you not bobing around.

its because your doing a manual reload implyed by you. if you were to let a whole clip run by, then you would stop and sam in another.

Actually the problem I was having understanding the whole thing is the definition of crouch. I can be in 'crouch' even though as I move, my guy will stand while moving and running around... and thus, if I reload while I'm moving and standing - I won't pause to reload - even though my guy TECHNICALLY is in crouch. Get it?

The only time it will pause is if your not moving your guy at the time of reload. As long as you aren't standing there when you run out of ammo or hit reload, you can reload and move at the same time... because your guy is standing, even though your technically in crouch. I hope this all made sense.
