Specific Sniping Spots

I thought about whether this should go udnder the sticky thread at the top to do with sniping, but i thought that it shouldnt because this is more specific, anyhoo:

Im gonna do as many maps as I can think of, I do not want any "These are such nooby places, everyone knows these".

Hmm what to start on..lets go for Desert Glory:

Desert Glory:

Seals:
1) Spawning near the truck, run forward and lie down. This should enable you to snipe any terros crossing the map. Only lie down for a few secs as you will get a rushing terrorrist occasionaly and may be grenaded.
2) If you spawn in the ally way (on the left) run to the far left try and snipe any people running into the hostage room. I would wait a few rounds to see if their grenading there before you try this.
3) Rush into the building on the left of the truck. Snipe out the windows, you get people rushing down the far right and some crossing the map.
4) Go to the hotel, top window. A cocky camper will probably try and shoot you though you should be able to take him out before that.

Terrorist:
1) If you spawn near the main hostage building, go to the broken building near where you spawn. It is the one that has two windows that look directly onto the wooden raised platform leading to the hostage room. If you go to the top of the stairs in the building described, you can like between two walls and take out seals going down the right, or take out snipers on the seal broken building.
2) In the same building as above, you can face towards the exit from the alley way and get people running from there and rushing to the hostage building.
3) If you spawn nearest the seals (on the terror left hand side),if you turn right and lie down infront of the garage you can snipe people using the posititon described in Part 1 of the Seal Section and also people who run through the hotel.
4) In the hostage room, lie down at the back just aiming at the top window in the hotel. This is essential you have mines or even better a team mate guarding you. Mines should be placed on the stairs on the wooden raised platform.

Crossroads:

Most people would think having tips on crossroads would be stupid, but sniping is not all that common, personally i love the map for sniping.

Seals:
1) From your spawn building run a few feet and prone in the crossroads (no pun intended) between the right hand road (leading to broken bridge) and the left hand road (leading to the restraunt). You can get people either way. Having someone guarding the wall is very usefull.
2) Run right from spawn (towards mp bomb bridge) and on the left hand side there is a small indent in the wall. If you lie down in the indent of the wall (preferably with the SAS costume) you can snipe the alley way and people running to your base. People just run straight past you.
3) From spawning run as far as you can to the right hand side, there should be some baskets just lie down on the right hand side.
4) Do the same as above expect there should be a sign, lie down facing the seal base and you should be able to get alot of people. (Personal favourite me and a mate sniped all 7 people who were running into our base. He was in the indent and I was next to the sign - it was 7 vs 2)

Terrorist:
1) Start off putting a line of mines along the left hand side next to your spawn. Then lie down on the pavement between your spawn and your base, aswell this works perfectly with someone camping in your spawn to protect you.
2) Run to the building, basically the bottom floor of where you blow the bridge - the building is on terror side) and snipe the bomb.
3) Blow the seal bridge and jump down facing the main market place. Lie to one side of the bridge preferably the left hand side and snipe the bomb.

SEALs

1) You could rush the main roof, and take out some guys from there.

2) Make the window hop on the right side, go into the church window and snipe from there (or on the balcony or building right beside the church)

3) Rush the alley near the left side and snipe down it.

4) Lay in either shadow of the trees (black suit helps) with an SR-25SD If you get it right, you can snipe the normal stuff from the tree, but also the right side of the tunnel, IF you get in position right.

5) SEAL spawn roofs (not advised to stay for too long) But a little trick to see the Terrorists 3 window roof where people snipe from a lot is:

Hop onto the main SEAL roof beside the building, go to the very right edge or tip of it, stand up and zoom in, you can see their spawn perfectly and no sniper from terr EVER looks there...

Terrorists

1) Rush bikehouse (house beside the lieing down bike...) and snipe from either window, or go outside and snipe laying on the bike.

2) Go on either roof at Terr spawn, blowing out the gate on the one with C4 and planting some crafty mines helps too IMO.

3) Go to your bridge, the right corner of it, from there you can snipe the tunnel (both sides) and the alley to the right.

4) Rush the church windows and snipe SEALs still near their base, or hop down and go rushing onto the SEAL roof and snipe from there.

Bah...

The Mixer

SEALs

1) if you start close enough, go to the corner of your spawn and snipe the bridge and anyone going across it.

2) Go left and up the stairs, snipe from that little platform up there; or keep going and snipe from the building right near the small bridge at the Terr spawn.

3) Go into "The Mixer" and snipe from top window.

4) Go to the top and snipe anyone trying to get into top extraction, then move into the extraction and snipe the bottom.

5) Go left but instead of going up the stairs, go beneath them and hide in some bushes and snipe the Terr roof or any Terr rushing the trains.


Terrorists

Ha, here we go

1) If you start near the bridge, don't go out, but snipe from either of the 2 windows there and get any SEAL trying to snipe the bridge or any SEAL trying to go lower extraction not via tunnels.

2) Snipe from main roof (not recommended IMO, too open...)

3) Go to the bottom extraction and plant some mines whereever you like, now go to the far right corner of that extraction, and prone snipe in the bushes.

4) If you start at bottom, go to those broken cars outside, go RIGHT where they join, and snipe from there; OR lay on top of one.

5) If you start near bottom, rush the stairs on other side of trains and snipe from them; OR go up the stairs and go really anywhere you want (right, left, to top extraction) and snipe.

4) If you start near bridge, go outside but dont go across, go to the edge of the platform beside the bridge and drop down CAREFULLY to the ledge beneath it, takes some practice.

5) Rush right side and snipe from either the little building near the bridge, or keep going and snipe at the tankers, or keep going and take anyone out at spawn or mixer and snipe from "The Mixer"

Also from here you can look to your right some more and look over the church breach and snipe terrorist who throw grenades over the breach gate.

Yeah, I've also realised (kinda cheap, but had fun in room last night doing it) that instead of sniping that building there, you launch an AT-4 at the stairs way over at it

hey everyone i just joined this and i have already found a bunch of ideas for new techniques and me and my parents along with the rest of my clan is always mad because when i snipe they cant find me but those routines always get old if anyone has any ideas for sniping spots say like on fish hook, and anyother maps not posted on here please send me some help. It would be deeply appreciated.

Welcome and that is what we are doing so this post was not necessary.


FISH HOOK:(not the best sniping map in general but here is some)

SEALS:

1.Top of the mountain facing the right of the beach. You can snipe terrorist that rush the beach from the right.

2.Under the tree (black suit is better) right off the beach in the middle where you can see the breach with the bridge over it. You can snipe the guys that stand on the bridge breach (where I am alot)

3. Boat house ledge. Top floor of the boat house, jump over the railing and go on the kinda thin ledge and you can snipe terrorist on the balcony on the top floor of the hostage building if they are camping there.

4. To get the terrorist in the same spot as in number 3 go to the far right alley and lean around the corner for a good headshot.

Thats all I can think of as a seal

TERRORIST:

1. Go up the stairs on the far right and snipe the seals at there spawn. Sometimes the tree is in the way but you can get around it.

2. Above the breach on the bridge by the hostages. Snipe seals in the middle area.

3. In the bottom window of the hostage building facing the beach to snipe the same seals as in number 2.

4. Climb the ladder or just go up the stairs to get above the breach bridge that I have mentioned alot, wallk across the plank to get on top of that one building on the left side of the middle area and snipe from there. (never tried it but have seen people try it so im not sure who ur sniping)

5. Continue across the second plank from number 4 and get in the corner with a small wall to your left and the main wall to your back. Snipe the mountain or seals running between two building after jumping over the climb wall by the gate breach. (watch out for seals on the beach that can see you. They are easily taken out by a good grenade)

6. On top of the boat house sniping towards the beach down the right alley. Also you can go in the window under this roof to snipe but your can not see as far.

7. Rush the beach on the left and snipe towards the right. (rarely works but might if the seals are sitting back by thier spawn.

8. Top floor hostage building open the door that faces the ladder by the brach bridge (same one as before) and snipe seals as they climb the ladder to try and get the hostages. (works best if someone is watching the stairs.

just a few for u foxhunt noobs.there r many others but theese i tgink r some of the best.
The clump of grass on the bottom right hand side of the bathouse hill. You can cancel out a lot of terrorist snipers and warn about assaults down your flank.
2]Lie on the left of the bathouse looking across the river plain make sue you are in the grass so u are concealed from the terrorist hill. Take out any chargers or river snipers.
3] crouch down n the left of the bathouse and view the terrorist hill early on. If the other team are noobish then u will get gud kills but u needd 2 watch the river.
4]lie on the slant of the bathouse hill and view down the right. simple
5]Sit on the face of the seal gun turret.I know it sounds like suicide but it simply owns, wach out for a sniper on rhe cave because he will be the only person to kill u unless thereis a charge. It helps to be on the very low down grey patch.

Terrorists.
Their are sooooooooo many it is impossible to write all the good ones so i will them according to what the seals are doing.

If the seals are offensive.

1 use the corner of the wall on the terorist left hand side to take out any chaguing seals.
2lie in the grass by the turret and look down the left and take out chargers.
3]use the rocks down the river to iliminate chargin sealson ur hill the grass works weel 2.
4]I aint tellin u this 1 no chance.
defensive seals.

1] The grass on the left of the terrorist hill oferlooking the turret. this works mainly because seal turret snipers only scan the hill and the rock ridge and also the river not trhe grass.

2]rocks on the river overlookin seal turret.
3]Grass on the left of terrorist hill just kill those seal snipers.
4]the grass on the front crack of the terrorist hill. only go there when after e alot of people are dead so that the seals have forgot about chargers from the hill. u shud hopefuly be the only terrorist on the hill everyone else should be fighting or dead. pick of all those seals around the bathouse and chuch.
5]Risky but very good. The grass on the top right of the terrorist hill oveerlooking the turret. its pretty dark here so usualy u arent seen

i have played alot of sujo, b/c it is such a hot map, and is used in many clan wars, and i have created a list of good sniping spots for both sides

TERRORISTS

1. In the building, both front windows
2. Chicken coop
3. Billboard
4. hut next to bomb building that looks down left breach
5. the area behind the chicken coop
6. the shed

Seals

1. right huts from terrorist spawn
2. Billboard, if possible
3. chicken coop,if possible
4. Any where where supreme darkness is present

One really good oe that nobody said;

This works for both seals and terr. on FISH HOOK.

As you run along the beach, and you get to the stairway that leads to the tunnels, go prone as far behind it as you can get, and a little to the left so you can see. This works best if you have an SR 25 SD, because the people think you are shooting them from the mountian and hide behind the rock, just sitting there for you to pop the in the head.
