Best weapon 4 ammo conserving....

Use the M16 for levels that you know will have lots of hostiles (especially if you know therell be snipers...) I used it for all the Algeria missions (middle east). It was perfect.

If you need to conserve ammo and you need to stay in one spot (i.e. waiting for something) just order Jester to "watch over" and have Bravo element "hold position". they will eventually spread out. And you can just sit there and pick off whatever hostiles you feel like. :P

This is perfect for the "Protect and Serve" mission when you are in the US Embassy and waiting for the helicopter.

every weapon can be good at ammo conservation.it just depends on how good your aim is and where you shoot them.i use to always use 2x ammo but anymore i dont and pack extra grenades,i just count on pickin ammo off dead bodies if i need it when i kill a mothafvka

I usually pack the 2x ammo, but instead of doing what you do, I just roam for grenades on the dead bodies, because often when I try what you said, they always have the wrong kind of ammo



Unless I'm sniping of course, then I usually pack 3 grenades as SEALs and 2+mines as terr.

i usually just steal a terr. weapon.....AK-47 (or AKS-74) is what i use mostly..........or i just take their Model 18s since nearly all of them have one........

i almost always use the Desert Eagle, and pack the double ammo because i dont snipe that often and as Seals i always have 2 nades and with terr, depending on the map i'll hve 1 nade/mine/2xAmmo

i usually only pack 2x ammo when i use the 552sd and m4a1sd because they r weaker and take more bullets to down a guy. (yes i know u can go for the head, but i usually am fine going for the chest)

when i have the m16 i never take double ammo considering it takes one burst to kill a guy u CAN potentially kill 10 guys with 1 mag, with none of them being headshots. the closest i ever got to that number was 4 guys with one mag, in a 4v1 firefight.

yea..i agree w/ timberwolf..even tho i cant use the m16, it conserves bullets very well..also..despite wut some people think, the m14 is very good at conserving ammo wen ur in close combat..it only takes 2-4 shots to take a person down..but long range the gun wastes ammo because of its kick

going by that a M60E3 can kill 100 people with only head shots(in one clip).
The M82/7 can kill however many you can line up with one clip etc. I think the best ammo conserver would be M16A2 because it forces burst though.
