Well im new to the website but im a kik *** sniper. A tip i learned is when your laying down and you see sombody running across aim 1-2 seconds ahead and by the time you pull the trigger you should kill him but make sure the person you shoot is in constant motion. This technique usaually works in desert glory or frostfire. U can also do the same thing with automatics with scopes but you have to scope out you target.

I agree with you guys on almost all but I believe that it's better to never use the thermal cause I find it shortens the view and it's a crutch for those who can't see with there own eyes. And this is coming from a guy who was 3570 on the ladder till i figured out not to give a damn about rank.

i remember my first socom game ever Frostfire. I sniped ontop of a box and got a few kills. i find that alot of the time i just flick the analog stick and pull the trigger. Learn how fast the scope moves.

I hate thermal scope, only levels its good in are pitch black ones like shadow falls and abandoned. Dark levels like sandstorm, sujo and others i hate it.

Im an accurate sniper, but can never find good spots that give me a good view of the map....and im always found, killed from bhind, or sniped 1st....i need some good hiding spots for each map...especially Foxhunt terrorist.

You may find some in there.

For foxhunt, i find it a great map because of the long grass you can get cover almost anywere. Though next to the turret (seals) is a good choice, but there are many places.

one thing I find that helped my snipein is to turn ur gun speed all the way up.

Also, try to work in pairs, like in crossroads, no matter what spawn you are at, you can snipe one road, and ur partner can snipe the other, that way, u dont have anyone comein up behind u

Finally, just go into any respawn, and try ur snipein, dont go into boundry snipers, because that is not realistic.

I highly recommend knowing exactly where you can get sniped from while you are sniping. If you can get a shot on someone from where you are, they can get a shot at you just as easily. Scan for snipers at every possible location, then focus on moving targets. Always call them out before shooting.
