if this was cleared earlyer then i apologize, im pressed for time and didnt have time to finish reading it all.

the thing ive notced is all these ppl saying that the sr and the sasr are the same sept sasr has more recoil and fire rate. the one thing "ive seen" overlooked or not mentioned at least is that the sr 25 [and sd] take 2 shots to kill and the sasr takes 3. but you should only need 1 for both. a headshot. they are plenty sturdy. but if you use the sr 25 and you miss the headshot but hit his body, then forget about the headshot. just go for the second body shot.

and at least test this out before trying to argue the point. please and thanks. shoot a buddy with it :P

the SP-10 fires off .45ACP ammunition... same as the Mark23. thats why those two weapons have the same fire-power just the Mark23 is twice as accurate but the SP-10 has 6 more rounds in the mag.

the SASR is the Terrorist equivalent to the SR25.

Differences:

SASR doesn't come with an SD
...>_>....<_<...
The SASR is bigger and has camo colors...

Simliarites:

Everything else...

heh heh heh, what did i tell you about arguing before testing it yourself. ive tested it with 2 playstations. sr = 2 hit kill sasr = 3. now, unless this has changed with the patch [doubtful] then its still the same. now, go test this. shoot a buddy at the end of the round [make sure he is willing] and you will see it takes half health. shoot him again and guess what, it takes the other half. shoot him twice in the torso [make sure they are clean shots], watch him drop, then come back here and tell the truth about how it went. if you already know the sr takes 2 hits, then test the sasr.

you have no reason to believe me when i say, im not a liar! but, oh well. you will have more trust in me when you test this out yourself. hopefully your big enough to admit when your wrong thats all.

i mean think about it, would i have the confidence to tell you and all the other readers to actually go out and test it?

they are most definately not equil. i sure hope you dont call yourself a good sniper when your dealing false information about sniper rifles and swearing its the truth. or do you not want others to know they dont have to go for that second shot in the head if they hit you in the bod?

I totally agree with 20Five...I would like your socom name as well...Foxhunt is probably the best map to learn sniping.....thats all i do is snipe....but i must say that the SR-25 SD isnt a good choice (my opinion) Its a good gun to use when youre learning cuz if you miss.....whos gonna hear ya? But i dont prefer it cuz it shows youre afraid to miss....if youre a good sniper, you prolly wouldnt really miss but if you do....you would know where to hide and when to hide.

I prefer the M40A1 due to its awesome accuracy. But its a 2 shot kill (perfect headshot rifle). Its great for use in bulidings (try it with Desert Glory on SEALs).

I also like the .50 calibers like the M87ELR and the M82A1A because theyre one shot kills. But the scope moves around more when you stand up with it. These are good if you like 2 snipe while laying down.

My pistols of choice would be the SP-10 and the DE .50 . The SP-10 is awesome and the DE is a MONSTER! I prefer the DE over the SP-10 but thats my giving.

Tricks: if you are struggling with timing then try playing the arcade game, Police Trainer, its pretty good. If youre haveing touble with aim, try Silent Scope (the arcade version w/ the rifle). I used to play those all the time. I also played the Time Crisis games and i think those helped alittle too.

This is just if you really want to learn how to snipe. Just dont get too obsessed lol. Be patient and have fun out there guys!!! :P

Sniper for life! :)
