biggets tip would be to, make sure u play some respawns, so you get good with aiming ( respawns dont hurt rank or help) so play them, get use to the level, and best of all, have fun with it, don't get all serious or the game will become gay, just stay cool, and u will get good

yeah what Villain siad was good, what I would do is have your clan, or some friends run around in a respawn room but you only use your pistol and the rest of em use their guns

Sandstorm tips

If you're a terrorist or a seal and you're not near any of the Seal breach areas, here's a tip for knowing where they are when the C4 blows. When the game announcer says:
"The perimeter has been breached by the seals." It is the breach by the turret.

"The seals have breached the perimeter". It is the center breach.

"A successful breach has been reached by the seals". It is the breach by the rocky hills.

Hope this helps.

Bad Pistol

One well placed bullet is better than a thouasand randomly fired (Use a sniper over an automatic, if u get good it will pay off over n over)

That may be true about the aim assist in the options. But, I've modified the look speed and acceleration in the same controller options screen (B4 you go online). As a relative newbie I didn't want the elite setting but I didn't want the rookie setting. I wanted to increase the speed of how quickly I was looking/aiming in case I had to turn around quickly. I used custom and put the settings 1/2 way in between rookie and sailor. Now that part does work on line because I've noticed my looking/aiming speed increase. Great for snipers and close in combat.

Where do you modify the speed or aiming, online, offline or just in settings in your Socom game? I've always wondered bout that.

When you first get into the game, B4 you go online, go into the OPTIONS menu. There, you will see Controller Options. You will see horizontal bars for the Look Speed, Acceleration, and Dead Zone. I believe you can adjust these to increase your "turn-around-cause-someone's-shooting-your-back" speed, which should be the same as your cross hairs speed.
