No VIDEO, Need help!
Alright a while back almost a year ago I wrote to you guys about a video I have that has no picture.. A lot of you recommended Divx and other programs.. All of witch failed.
Then about 2 months ago I told you I was fixing my hard drive and asked if it would erase files.. Well I put that hard drive in after I fixed it and the video was there but again... No video..
Then about a week ago the kid I sold my old computer to said the power supply failed... So I picked it up and today the power supply came by mail and I fixed it and the video was on the computer and worked!..
So I took my slave drive put it in his saved to that put back in mine tried playing and no luck... There is no video...
I thought maybe cause mine was vista and newer that it could be that so I went down stairs on my dads computer.. and again... no luck with video only sound.
I remember a while back some one told me to publish the movie so I tried that but that version of movie maker doesn't have publish..
I need a suggestion by the end of the night because I have to give the computer back.. and no Omega it isn't porn LOL. It's actually a video of a vaction I was on with my family and has sentimental meanings to me cause it was the last family vaction with my whole family.

Liar.
Ok, so you gotta give the computer back to the dude you sold it to.
First thing's first, make sure you get a copy of that file onto your pc. That way you have it until you can get this situation sorted out.
What format is the video file?

After some quick googling, It's either an issue with your graphics card or you don't have the necessary codecs to view the video (it's probably the codec).
Here's something that looks really helpful: A how to on identifying what codecs the video needs, and whether or not you have them. All you need is that free app.

It's the top link, mr. I-don't-need-an-antivirus.
From what I read you launch the app, then open the movie like you would to play it, and the app detects what codecs it requires, and then checks your pc to see if have them.
If you don't have them, all you'll have to do is google "[codec name] codec" and you should be able to find them.

Sub, I missed that you had 3 links highlighted. The one you want is the middle one, the "Get Gspot here" link.
And try what shadow posted.
