You never answered Omegar, so, what type of file is it?
You mentioned that you used Movie Maker.

Movie Makers doesn't actually save a movie. What they do is, save the file locations. So later on, when you open the movie, it says, "grab sistersboobs.jpg from C:\blahblahblah\"
If you try to open the Movie Maker file on a different computer, your computer doesn't necessarily have C:\blahblahblah\ so Movie Maker can't open sistersboobs.jpg.

So publishing the file is the only solution. However, you said the computer doesn't have a publish option. Go back on the original computer, open up the movie in the movie maker you used. Save the file again, but see if you have different options for the file type.
Usually, if you don't have another file type option, there is most likely an option to export.


This probably isn't the solution, but it's what I figure from what you've told us.
