Exclamation Dazzle Capture Card Help?
I am considering to buy a dazzle capture card to record video game footage to post on youtube, but I saw that there is a Dazzle Platinum card and a Dazzle standard card. I also heard that the standard card cannot record 60 Hz video games. I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 labtop, an Insignia HDTV, and a Xbox 360. My question is which capture card should I buy to record the video game footage from my tv to my computer. (**If you could also tell me what i should buy to use the capture card such as certain cables.**)

There are currently 2 Dazzle at the market: Dazzle Video Creator Platinum(DVC170) and the Dazzle DVD Recorder (DVC100). The DVC170 has better quality value than the Recorder with his higher price. For your Xbox 360, you must buy the s-video cable xbox 360 cable(Universal or official cable). Currently, there is not much HDTV capture card and they're still expensive like hell so all you can do is to get the S-video cable which is the best cable out there. Both record 60hz. Plus, if you also want to record with sound, you will need a Y audio cable (I think that's what it's called). It's an extension of the audio cable and it divides the audio cable in 2 parts: 1 for the TV and 1 for the computer. I'm not sure about the audio cable part. I hope someone else can help about it since I haven't record for a long time. I'm only waiting for a HDTV capture card.

Yeah, you should take the DVC170 for that. I have used it before and turned out to be great. I am not sure about the audio cable either.
