My question is which capture card should I buy to record the video game footage from my tv to my computer. There are currently 2 Dazzle at the market: Dazzle Video Creator Platinum(DVC170) and the Dazzle DVD Recorder (DVC100). The DVC170 has better quality value than the Recorder with his higher price. For your Xbox 360, you must buy the s-video cable xbox 360 cable(Universal or official cable). Currently, there is not much HDTV capture card and they're still expensive like hell so all you can do is to get the S-video cable which is the best cable out there. Both record 60hz. Plus, if you also want to record with sound, you will need a Y audio cable (I think that's what it's called). It's an extension of the audio cable and it divides the audio cable in 2 parts: 1 for the TV and 1 for the computer. I'm not sure about the audio cable part. I hope someone else can help about it since I haven't record for a long time. I'm only waiting for a HDTV capture card.
