Ok, I'll admit that I'm one of the many killjoys out there that says to Rock Band and Guitar Hero enthusiasts, "Why don't you just play the real thing?" Being a musician, I can appreciate that playing an instrument takes some effort, and I think people would be surprised to see how the level of effort compares to the harder diffuculties on these ultra-popular games.
Now they'll be able to do that with combos!
A software developer called Music Wizard Group (MWG) is getting ready to launch a new product called Guitar Wizard. The new software will be along the lines of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but will actually teach people how to play guitar. I know, it may sound like a quick hop on the bandwagon, but MWG has already proven itself this with their similar work on Mattel's successful "I Can Play Guitar" product.
