I don't really care much about phones, but I like my new one enough to post about it.
It's the world's thinest phone, has all the gadgets I need, and didn't kill my wallet.
Only problem is, the memory on it is only a mere 81mb with no room for extra memory cards. Bummer.
Samsung X820: World's thinnest phone - Mobile Phones
They discontinued the phone a few weeks back (as planned) so I got the last 2 in the shop and gave my Mom one. I have checked in every phone shop I have seen in 3 different cities and none of them have it. Looks like I got 2 of the last ones available for quite a distance.
We bought 4 phones at the same time so the guy threw me in a bluetooth dongle (forgot to add it to my laptop when I ordered it) and my brother a 1gb memory card for his phone for free. I like his phone, it's been out 1 week but it's got green lines all over it so it's ghey.
Since it's discontinued, it's a bastard to get a case or protective thing for it so looks like its either eBay or the Sunday Market jobby for me to get one.
Phone was supposed to cost £200 ($400) but I got them both for only £70 ($140) each since they were trying to get them off the shelves because they needed shelf space for the new phone (my brothers) and we were the first people to purchase a new plan just brought out a few days ago, and also the first to purchase the phone my brother got.
Plan is 200 minutes and 200 texts each month for £15 but I can cancel for free anytime or upgrade my plan to 200 minutes and 500 texts for £20 anytime I want. I use phones more as cameras so I dont need a lot of minutes/texts.
My brother gets 22,000 minutes extra each month if he needs them which we worked out to be.......... more than enough.
The guy said mine is made from fibreglass so it's tough, good job since I have dropped it 3 times on the marble floor already, and the guy claimed we denied insurance when asked if we wanted it.
